Appalling decision @Everton
We need joint actions from supporters at next week’s Derby.

FAB statement on today's announcement from the Club on price rises.

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has written to all season ticket holders and members ahead of planned protests at Anfield tomorrow over ticket price increases.
"Liverpool Football Club fully respects the right of supporters to protest and we acknowledge those supporters who are opposed to this approach. But we would also ask one thing in the days and weeks ahead: that any protest, and any debate, is grounded in the facts - what is changing, why it is changing, and what it means in real terms."

@UniteSharon @unitetheunion You need to fuck them off altogether as do all trade unions

Unite has made it clear that the actions of Labour against the Birmingham bin workers will not continue to be tolerated.
As well as an escalation of the strike in Birmingham, @unitetheunion has voted to cut its Labour affiliation by £580,000. This move is unprecedented and shows the anger of Unite members.
As streets fill with rubbish in every corner, residents and workers suffer, while the council dither around a deal already scoped out at conciliation service Acas. A deal blocked by government backed commissioners on £1,200 a day.
@UKLabour’s incompetent behaviour in Birmingham has come on the back of a failed economic strategy, that has left our industrial base fighting for its life. Oil and gas workers facing decimation, buy British defence promises broken, the public sector undervalued and the elderly and disabled under attack.
Prior to the rules conference next year (which decides affiliation) Unite has made the decision to substantially cut its affiliation and will now formally consult with its members to see whether they want to remain in the Labour Party.
💬Unite members are coming to the end of the line as far Labour is concerned.
💬Workers are scratching their heads asking whose side are Labour on, who do they really represent, because it certainly isn’t workers. Workers and communities are paying the price.
💬Labour needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
💬The cut in affiliation fee shows the anger of Unite members. Stop taking workers for granted, spine up, do your job and be real Labour.

The utter humiliation of both the British Government AND the official opposition in the Manchester by-election is THE story in British politics. The two cheeks of the same arse have been soundly spanked and a new political order is emerging.
The tin-foil clad alliance for War, for Israel, for Austerity, for the spiralling decline of Britain has been torn asunder.
The Epstein class of British politicians has been smashed.
Our decision- my decision- to stand down and get behind the best-placed vehicle to achieve this result has been vindicated. It’s called leadership.
Starmer must go.
But replacing him with a tax-cheating scrubber or a Mandelson fan-boy will solve nothing.
Labour itself is finished. It’s race is run. Its serial betrayal of the working class has come to an end.
It’s hopeless devotion to war and the genociding of Peoples all over the world it’s mania for militarism and the language of empire and racism it’s unconvincing posturing on the world stage has left it the third party in the state.
The fraudulent parliamentary majority it holds now hangs about it like a giants robe upon a dwarfish thief. As Oscar Wilde said on the death scene in Little Nell: you’d have to have a heart of stone not to laugh.
I congratulate the Greens on their victory and wish Hannah every success as a member of parliament. Now we as a people must unite for still greater victories.

Hopefully you and the rest of your phoney Labour colleagues will be ran out of this city sooner rather than later

Today could be a defining moment for our party. If democracy means anything, Andy Burnham must be allowed to stand - and Labour HQ should be encouraging it. Blocking Andy to satisfy factional interests would be a serious mistake & would have long-lasting consequences.

Andy Burnham played a key role in privatising our NHS while serving as Health Secretary.
Andy Burnham voted for the 2003 Iraq War — an illegal invasion that led to the deaths of over a million Iraqis.
Andy Burnham was a member of Labour Friends of Israel, an apartheid state that has committed genocide against the Palestinian people.
Gorton and Denton deserves a genuinely socialist MP — one who doesn’t vote for illegal wars, stands in solidarity with Palestine and is proudly anti-Zionist.

We was winning titles and European trophies in the 60s and early 70s without a high level of support from outside the local area so just shows some of our so called supporters haven’t got a fucking clue

@KevLfc19 If Liverpool relied on those from a 5 mile radius the club would be in the Championship at best.
