@RpsAgainstTrump So the smart thing to do would be…
@GovAndyBeshear to call for a special election now and if McConnell is alive or able to object, he will need f he can’t then that answers the question.

@Anastas_Don @RealHickory @IanJaeger29 @LeaderJohnThune Byrd Rule (60-Votes Needed)
If the Senate Parliamentarian agrees that an add-on violates the Byrd Rule, the provision is automatically stripped from the bill. To keep the provision in the bill, the Senate must vote to waive the Byrd Rule, requires a supermajority of 60 votes

@RealHickory @IanJaeger29 The budget reconciliation bill only requires a simple majority to pass. This bill contains the Save Act. With JD Vance as the tie-breaker it seems @LeaderJohnThune has the votes. Of course, he will tell you he does not. Thune is a LIAR. 👺

Trump on Saudi Nuclear Deal demands:
Q: On the Saudi nuclear deal—This man over your shoulder announces a big deal after 18 months of negotiating—seems like it's all done and signed and then you come out and throw some new conditions on top of it. The whole thing blows up. Did he get out ahead of you, or what happened there?
Trump: Nobody got out ahead. I just said in order to do it they have to be a member of the Abraham accords which have been very successful…. At some point they will join and they will do what I call, civil nuclear but that's what it is, no enrichment, civil nuclear.

It has been 40 days since Senator Mitch McConnell was rushed to the hospital.
Other than a single photo released by his office, the public hasn’t seen the former Republican Senate leader.
On July 7, a spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Thune and McConnell had “a lengthy conversation” earlier that afternoon.
Meanwhile, calls are growing for Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear to act.
Beshear said in an interview last week that he had gotten calls from unnamed agencies “suggesting that McConnell passed.”
Former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger said: “I think the Governor of Kentucky has every right and responsibility to either see Mitch or declare the seat vacant.”
Under Kentucky law, the governor can call a special election if a Senate seat becomes vacant, but he can’t declare the seat vacant or remove a sitting senator. That would require McConnell to resign, die, or otherwise vacate the seat first.
Where’s Mitch? Is he ever coming back to the Senate?
The public deserves real answers, not just one photo and a few vague statements.

@Acyn “Sands: In the Middle East, after you sign the deal, the negotiations start.”
Who are these people?
English

Phillip: Why announce a deal yesterday and then change it the next day?
Sands: Art of the deal.
Phillip: What is the art of the deal? You announce a deal, then you renege on it in 24 hours?
Sands: In the Middle East, after you sign the deal, the negotiations start.
Phillip: When we say that we've signed a deal to allow nuclear development in another country, and that deal is signed and there's a press conference and that whole thing that's that's not the start of negotiations. We've already put out the terms.
