@Gamma_Intel It's good to see interest in security rising. But bridges have always carried risks. It's why Babylon is and would probably remain #1. The use of native $BTC eliminates these risks. Hopefully, more protocols will begin to pay more attention to security.

@fucckt332 I guess it's a good thing then that I'm more interested in BTCFi lending, not DeFi lending. And it's also a good thing that I'm looking at native $BTC collateral on @babylonlabs_io because I wouldn't have to bother about bridges and hacks.

While everyone was watching Bitcoin, DeFi lending quietly broke. Collateral ratios on the top 5 protocols just hit all-time lows. TVL holds — but only because nobody hit the button yet. This isn't growing liquidity. This is accumulated risk with no price tag. Impatient people already lost. Blind people are next.
