In football, clubs have a curve. ex-premiership clubs especially, Trying to stop the rot of a stint in the prem is nothing you can judge a manager on when appointing. Sacking when they fail is part of the process but Manning as succeeded with clubs who were where HTFC are now.

Lee Grant was a good, able, progressive guy. But without a proper, senior assistant who had been around the block alongside him, it never felt right. But he should not carry the can. #htafc
