As someone who has played Black Ops on both Xbox and PlayStation, I can confidently say Xbox players are getting completely screwed out of the reunion PlayStation players are having right now. The PS4/PS5 ports find games almost instantly. I haven’t encountered a single hacker, and I’ve genuinely had an amazing time playing. Whenever I tried playing on Xbox, it could take 15–20 minutes to find a match, and when I finally found one, it was almost always modded. This isn’t PlayStation versus Xbox. Xbox players deserve the same experience. @Treyarch should release the same kind of port on Xbox, keep it separate from cross-play, remove theater mode if necessary, and give it dedicated servers. I know some people see it as nothing more than an old game and nostalgia, but this game has genuinely made me happy again. Not just because it’s Black Ops, but because I can get online at any time and find a full community of people playing, talking shit, laughing, and having fun together again. Xbox players deserve that reunion too.

📢 Call of Duty: #BlackOps & #BlackOps2 on PS4 / PS5 PS4 and PS5 players are able to matchmake with one another. There is no cross-platform play with PS3 or other hardware platforms. Also, Season Pass owners are able to matchmake with non-Season Pass owners in both titles.
