My biggest beef with people by the time I left my big blue American city was not being able to talk about how bad things had gotten without people editing you or simply not believing you.
"I don't like open drug use on public transit."
"How is someone doing drugs harming you? Just ignore them."
"A homeless guy scared me in a park today."
"How did you KNOW he was homeless?"
"I don't feel safe here anymore."
"The news makes it seem worse than it is!"
My breaking point was when a loved one was randomly killed downtown & a left-leaning friend... didn't believe me because the news didn't report it at first.
"I'm sorry but I just don't think a white guy would get murdered in broad daylight without the news sounding the alarm. Are you sure that's what actually happened?"
To a certain kind of left-leaning mind, it's more offensive to state a problem out loud than for the problem to exist.
Any solution to a problem that isn't endless empathy for a person regardless of their behavior is you being a big ol' meanie. How dare you be scared of that guy who's punching the air & talking to himself!
Public transit became a sea of people pretending awful behavior didn't exist.
You can't solve problems if solutions make you uncomfortable. You especially can't solve them if it's rude to talk about them.
So I left. Now I don't fear for my life.
According to some blue peeps, nothing has changed for me. There was never a real problem to begin with!

A very common progressive move is to cause a huge problem then simply to pretend that it's just something that's unavoidable *when that problem didn't exist 5 years ago before they did what they did to cause it*
In this case the answer to his question is in the quoted tweet - by doing proper forest management - which they don't do because wildfires are "good for the cause" because progressives are insane cultists who all will say that anything bad that happens can only be solved with more progressivism

We got Congress, on a bipartisan basis, to pass a law that outlawed a Commie Chinese spy app that the left loves and finds politically useful.
We got the Supreme Court to uphold it.
We then lawlessly exempted the Commie Chinese spy app from the enforcement of the federal law, because our billionaire donor friend was in a joint venture with the Chicoms.
