Speaking of scholarships, our Rockets excelled and persevered, winning nearly 7 Million in academic and athletic scholarships!! We are grateful to our village for pouring into our students!💚🤍🚀

Congratulations to Leah Tucker for being this year’s highest scholarship recipient with over 1/2 Million dollars awarded, including the Frank Zenere Family Scholarship! This generous $2000 scholarship is possible thanks to Dr. Lawrence Feldman, former MDCPS School Board Member.

Our Miami Central Alumni are beyond amazing @mcraa95 ! They continue to show up and show out!! From the Laptops and scholarships giveaway, the $1000 donation to our Culinary Program, and the overwhelming support of our band!

Major gratitude to our ETO Graduation and Acceleration team at @MDCPSDAS for their unwavering support and guidance! We exceeded our goals and broke barriers: 97 % Grad Rate and 90 % Acceleration Rate! A testament of what happens when students, parents and staff work as a TEAM! 🚀

I am so pleased to announce that Cemaya Hill, has been chosen as the winner of this year's Congressional Art Competition. Cemaya's piece was selected out of 75 entries from high schools across the 24th district. As the winner, Cemaya's protrait of Malcom X will be framed and displayed in the halls of Congress.
