@Wolfofsteele @BasedRPG Yeah i think the quest was a victim of cut content, still a cool quest either way, although i do have a gripe with the quest having "Dragon rising" as a pre requisite, i dont want dragons in my game

@Rocks__Z5 @BasedRPG would definitely make it more interesting. Ironically this quest was originally going to be even darker with the implication that Balgruf was going to be assassinated by his children, or at least attempted to be.

@Wolfofsteele @BasedRPG the whispering door quest could've been a bit more darker if we got any conclusion to anything Balgruf was accused of by Mephala, what happened to the wife? Does he really secretly agree with Ulfric but is loyal to the empire cause of the gold they pay him? Etc etc

@BasedRPG I honestly think Skyrim could've benefited from a lot more darker and scarier quests. Oblivion had way more that were legitimately frightening

@Der_Kernel_ People justifying siding with the empire because "Skyrim alone would be invaded by the Aldmeri Dominion" are severely over-estimating the dominion..no they CANNOT invade Skyrim, its logistical suic*de, and frankly not worth it.

Do you honestly think it’s narratively more interesting to have the Straw Hats one shot Imu’s (the final villain’s) Knights which are second to only the Gorosei instead of putting up an actual fight just because they’re a Yonko crew now? What if that happened to Shamrock would you be ok with that as well? I imagine not, because it’s lame and anti-climactic. Think about what you’re trying to justify you are basically advocating for underwhelming antagonists. It is not interesting if the Straw Hats just steamroll everyone
