Masterstroke 👏
PankajDhavraiyya RspChief@ChiefRspDhavrai

#exolore #rsp #pankajdhavraiyya #trend

81% of SC/ST act are filed on OBC. Still AndhraPradesh government is bringing "Backward class atrocity bill", which is as draconian as SC/ST act. Now, question is who are we going to protect, and from whom? #DivisiveBCBillAP

@neha_laldas why don’t you consider appearing on national TV debates like in Aaj Tak, India TV, or similar? You’re by far the most competent and authentic voice on this issue—you have real skin in the game and deep knowledge. You’d represent the general category brilliantly

Let me correct all the misunderstandings here, on both sides. In 2026 UGC guidelines, the description of the "types/forms of discrimination" remain same as 2012 guidelines. It has not been changed. 1. Problem is definition of "caste-based discrimination"-a new clause added, under which only SC/ST/OBC are defined as "victims". Effectively it means- GC (men/women both) can't claim caste-discrimination, as per this definition. They can, however, claim discrimination under other forms listed, but not caste based, because the definition doesn't cover them. Also, muslims who form a substantial part of OBC can also claim caste-discrimination (as per this definition). 2. Problem is inclusion of OBC as a protected category under "caste-discrimination". This inclusion is purely politically motivated. Because the PIL was only for SC/ST. Supreme court never asked for OBC inclusion. 3. Problem is addition of "implicit" acts under "discrimination" definition. Which means actions without intent are also included. 4. Problem is creation of equity squads, who'll roam campuses "looking for discrimination". Problem is constant surveillance students will be subjected to. Problem is constant scrutiny of their every action or word (as squads actively encourage ppl to report incidents they have "witnessed"). 5. Problem is "sensitization" of students, regarding caste differences. Problem is taking "undertakings" from all students at college entry, saying "they'll not do discrimination". It'll only increase the caste consciousness, not remove it. 6. Problem is explicitly mentioning SC/ST/OBC/women/PwD representation, for equity committee formation, but leaving GC men out of it. Shows presumption on the part of policy makers that GC men aren't important? Or they are oppressors? 7. Problem is aggressive timelines for dealing with complaints. 24 hr meeting, 7 day action, 15 day report. Such timeline can't ensure real justice. 8. Problem is the structure and functions of equity committee, which clearly shows they work to find or create discrimination, where none exists. E.g. they need to give a report every 6 months. Can they show an empty report? How'll they show they are working & their existence is justified? 9. Problem is too much power awarded to such squads & ambassadors. Can you imagine how these powers can be misused to blackmail students? 10. Problem is inclusion of NGO, Civil societies which wasn't there in 2012 guidelines. What this will result in, no need to explain. 11. Problem is non-essentiality of any proof for filing a discrimination complaint. Means anyone can simply file complaint based on any personal disagreement. Burden of proof lies on the accused. 12. Problem is expanding the scope to include faculty members. Now faculty members actions will also be scrutinized. Can they function effectively under such surveillance? 13. & Most importantly, problem is removal of punishment on fake complaints. Add all these points together, and you'll see how easily these guidelines have a huge potential for misuse.
Facts@BefittingFacts

Fact check on claims around UGC Equity Regulations 👇🏻 ⚠️ Claim 1: General caste students or staff cannot file complaints under UGC Equity Regulations Fact: The regulations allow any person connected to a Higher Education Institution, including general category, to file complaints. Verdict: False ⚠️Claim 2: Presumption of guilt without proof Fact: Regulations mandate inquiry by Equity Committees and Equal Opportunity Centres, with no text presuming guilt before investigation Verdict: False ❌ ⚠️ Claim 3: No penalty for false or malicious complaints Fact: Final regulations removed penalty clauses intentionally to encourage reporting. Verdict: True ✅ ⚠️ Claim 4: No uniform SOPs across universities. Fact: Uniform framework with mandated bodies and procedures exists, with limited institutional flexibility. Verdict: Misleading ‼️ ⚠️ Claim 5: Internal committees have zero external oversight Fact: Institutions are monitored by UGC through reporting and compliance mechanisms Verdict: False ❌

@theskindoctor13 Atul knew the system wouldn’t change overnight or suddenly turn fair to men. He consciously gave his life so thousands like us would finally open our eyes to see how the system really works. In that sense, he succeeded. He woke up thousands like me. Thank you, Atul. 🕊️

Today marks one year since Atul Subhash’s death: Wife got bail within 30 days and is still with Accenture. Wife got custody of their son. Court rejected Atul’s mother’s custody plea, calling her “a stranger to the child.” No inquiry against Judge Rita Kaushik; she was promoted to District Judge instead. The abetment case is adjourned for a year, showing the system’s priority. The system he hoped would change after his death stayed exactly the same. So far, none of the last wishes he expressed in his video have materialised. And this is precisely why men facing similar harassment must hear this: do not take the step Atul took. His absence has not eased the burden on his father, mother, or brother. His son will grow up entirely shaped by the environment of his mother’s family, with their narrative becoming the only version he knows. The legal system has not shifted, the laws have not changed, and the machinery he hoped would respond has remained unmoved. So stay alive and fight.

A Driver lost his livelihood because the Ego of an Entitled woman got hurt. Dear @Uber_India please speak to the driver and restore his ID.
Madhu Purnima Kishwar@madhukishwar

Dear @Uber_India I had the most nightmarish experience with Uber driver GAUTAM tonight. I booked an intercity ride at 835 pm from Pune airport for Chinmaya Vibhooti Centre which is about 52 kms from the airport. It was a long ride. Driver Gautam remained so busy talking in an agitated manner on the phone for large part of the journey that he did not even register if i asked a question about the ride. Luckily i chose not to disturb him even tho UBER protocol forbids drivers to have long phone conversations. So during the ride there was no interaction or cause for a tiff. As we reached the Chinmaya Mission Centre a little aftee 10 30 pm, Gautam very rudely told me that hia job was limited to dropping me at the main gate. And that i should find my own way. This was shocking I was carrying a suitcase and a backpack. The campus is huge and spread over several acres. I told him this is my first visit to the place. Therefore, i insisted that he drop me at the location suggested by the security guard at the main entrance to the campus. He grumbled angrily saying that is not his job. Anyway, he drove to the location suggested by the guard. I picked up my room key and we were told that the actual building where i had to stay is just a 100 odd meters from there. Gautam started yelling at me saying it is not his job and that i should find my own way. Fuming and frothing he drove me to the nearby building. But came to the wrong one. He again insisted i shpuld get off and find my own way and he was not going to waste any more time. I pleaded with folded hands but he was almost abusive and nasty beyond words. It took no more than two minutes to find the right building. I went in to find a security guard since the place looked deserted. I came back within minutes. By this time he was yelling loudly at me. Hearing this fracas, some staff members of the Chinmaya Mission came out. They offered to guide me to my room and let go of the cab. But Gautam refused to open the trunk to get my suitcase out till i paid him. My hosts told him you give her the suitcase and take the money, she is more than willing to pay you. But he yelled at them also. And drove away with the suitcase saying he was going to the police station to compalin about non payment if fare. We were all stunned at the bizarre turn of events. However, one of the staff members had the presence of mind to call the Security Guard at the main gate and hold the cab there. Since he could not exit the campus, Gautam called me and asked in furious tone. are you giving the money or not? I told him payment was never an issue. My hosts took the phone and told him to come right back or else they would take action. Gautam came back fuming and frothing but again insisted on payment before he took out my suitcase. In utter helpnessness, I sat in the cab and asked him to present the QR Code. I told him i will get off from the cab only after he took out the suitcase. The bill came to Rs 1693. But he had asked for 1700 rs which i readily paid. Had he not misbehaved in the most bizarre fashion, I would have gladly given him a good tip. But the entire episode left me in a state of shock. What would I have done if the people from Chinmaya Mission were not available at that late hour to help me? Worse still, long parts of the route from airport were through uninhabited areas on the highway. The road was pitch dark. What if he had taken needless offence at XYZ such as my telling him not to be on the phone talking in an agitated manner to someone for long duration while he was driving on the highway late at night? What if he had forced me to get out of the cab in the dead of night on the poorly lit highway and drove away with my luggage? Dear @Uber_India @Uber_Support, Gautam is in need of psychiatric treatment. His behaviour was very abnormal. Please take serious note of his mental health. Else he could get you into serious trouble!

‼️Why two Supreme Court Benches are listing the MP OBC reservation case?‼️ Is it a clerical error or a case of "Forum Shopping"? FYI, The SC bench comprising Justice Narasimha & Justice Chandurkar has been hearing a full batch of petitions related to 73% Quota in MP. The next hearing is scheduled in November 2nd week. But mysteriously another petition (DIARY NO./16430/2023) related to the MP reservation case is getting listed in CJI Gavai's bench today (17-10-2025). It is very very unusual!! When one SC bench is hearing the full batch of petitions, why a particular petition is getting listed in another bench? Is somebody is indlulging in "Forum Shopping"?
