@MJRodnick I hear what you're saying if you're Boutte. But as Howie Roseman, he's just another veteran that he can add to his WR corp. And let the better receiver command more snaps. And possibly pay.

It will be interesting to see what the narrative around Will Campbell is a year from now. It could range anywhere from franchise left tackle to potential right tackle going forward. It all depends on how he plays this season.

@_FoxboroForever Good points. Especially 3. Defenses are trending to post-snap coverages like Seattle. Brady's bread and butter was diagnosing pre-snap coverages. Now Drake will need answers to the test post-snap. If he can master that in McDaniels system, then it's going to be explosive.

The three areas I’m looking for growth from Drake Maye in year 3. 1. Improved release time and ball security 2. Recognition of defensive structure - protections, coverages, movement etc. 3. Ability to adjust and adapt on the fly - get the offense into the right call. Drake Maye can throw the football with the best of him, one of the best athletes at the QB position. Last step - the Mental Game

@_FoxboroForever We're still not fully confident in the pass rush. Jacas to be seen. Until then, the secondary is their line of defense.

@MJRodnick This is a very good point being raised here. It's basically saying that Cory Durden will be what the Pats thought Kayden McDonald would've been when they passed on him in the draft. Durden is the X factor of the 2026 Pats defense.

@iamrahstradamus Regular season Wemby would even be scared of the Wemby we saw last night. It's hard to compare what the Knicks did to SA back then as what they would do that team now. Spurs are legit.

They should have won that December 31st game. They just choked down the stretch. They were dominating that game too.
Jake@TXForever49

@iamrahstradamus Yup. Knicks almost swept the season series against the Spurs! They went 2-1 but were one OT away from going 3-0. They'd beat the Spurs in 6 games at most.

@SamaHoole Our bodies are more resilient and adaptive than we give it credit for. It doesn't "need" additional fuel for the fuel it already has. Our culture is conditioned to thinking that our bodies "need" more when it's usually the opposite.

For the people training before work who keep asking what to eat at 5:45am. I get the concern. You need something quick. Something easy on the gut. Something that does not sit heavy through the first set of squats. Something dense, energy-rich, slow-release. Clean burning. No insulin spike. No bloating. No faffing about with a blender at quarter to six in the morning. Ideally something already prepared. Already in the kitchen. No shopping list. No prep. No measuring. Available on demand, exactly when you need it, in whatever quantity the session calls for. I have got just the thing. It is the spare tyre around your midsection. You are carrying somewhere between 40,000 and 100,000 calories of premium fuel on your person right now. The body knows what to do with it. It has been waiting, frankly, for you to stop interrupting the process with porridge. Train fasted. Black coffee. Water. Breakfast is already on board.

Your eccentrics do NOT need to be any slower than this, folks You are not getting ANY additional gains by slowing the lowering phase needlessly and you may even cost yourself some! Go slow enough to standardize form and reduce injury risk…that’s it!
AP Joshua@Metabolic1992

@DeanTTraining So you mean: The eccentric shouldn't be unnecessarily slow? Because I've seen it's deeply fatiguing. I can easily get +2-3 reps if I don't slow The eccentric unnecessarily.

The correct way to do Pull-Ups for Muscle Growth: - Explosive concentric - Controlled (but not needlessly long) eccentric - Chin gets CONVINCINGLY over bar at top (bar is approaching clavicle) - 98% of the way to full dead hang at bottom (scapula remains depressed/shoulders dont rise)
Gregory Blotnick@gregoryblotnick

seeking pull-up twitter input: LEFT VIDEO: pull-up Guinness World Record (Oh Yahon) from 2025 (11,707 in 24 hrs) RIGHT VIDEO: what I was taught as a pull-up: dead hang, full ROM, chin above bar whats correct?? bc the # of pullups you can do, it could be 5...or it could be 20.

#Patriots TE Julian Hill on his production potentially increasing: “Man, I wanna win… A lot of people ask, ‘Man, how you go from [ups and downs] in Miami… now you get the opportunity in New England.’ Because I’m a guy — people talk about culture guys — I’m a guy, man, when you tell me to do something, that’s my focus and I’m gonna do it. So if they say we need you to catch 5 more passes this year, block this guy, whatever it is, man, I’m gonna do it. And I’ve got a hell of a vet in that room. Hunter Henry is a hell of a guy… At the end of the day, whatever they need from me, I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna work hard to do it.” (🎥 @Patriots)

@EvanWritesOnX Historically, outrage was a people's weapon against power and the elite. Today, that same outrage has been turned into a corporate/political weapon against its own people. Power has truly won when even our own voices can be used for their gain.

The dominant strategy for corporations is to commit shady practices if the benefits outweigh the cost. Mislead consumers, make billions, pay millions in fines. Net a profit. The dominant strategy for consumer law authorities, is to look the other way; Wait for corporations to mislead consumers, pretend outrage, fine them in the name of consumer protection. Net a profit. This is a circular practice with shared objectives between corporations and regulators. It’s a smart way to take more from consumers under a clever scheme. The money shifts from consumers to corporations who then pay a small fee for the regulators who arrive conveniently after the fact. This is literally by design. That money is not going back to consumers. It never does. Consumers have one option. Aggressive boycotting.
