It was a pleasure to work with the incredible Jalal Norooz Oliaee & Chase Sun from the Metrology Research Centre @NRC_CNRC. We used their in-house developed sensors to measure & map natural sources of #methane. Jalal makes final preparations before a day of surveying. @GSC_CGC.

Although these slopes are identified as stable, an earthquake would potentially be a mechanism for failure given the presence of the shallow gas. publications.gc.ca/site/fra/9.895…
