I have lost 67 pounds in the past three years, and half of that has been in the last year. It's only going to accelerate once I get started on the treadmill, now that I'm only 8 pounds away from being able to use it. Once this cellulitis is dealt with, I'm going all in.

If you removed all of the fraud you'd discover that most people don't spend like that with there food stamps. The biggest reason is that, outside of the fraudster, legit people on food stamps don't get enough to do that. Period. I get $176 in food stamps a month. I don't buy anything luxary either.

I used to work as a grocery store cashier, I remember the kind of food people on welfare were buying with other people's tax dollars. This is why I support those who say food assistance should only be for the essentials because I would love to receive food assistance for the essentials myself. SNAP should not be for buying steak, lobster tails, energy drinks, pop tarts, candy, or sushi like I used to watch people who abuse SNAP fill up shopping carts with right after getting their benefits because they didn't actually need food assistance they were just scamming a system for prime rib and lobster.
