Let Hindu phobia affected fanatics know from Syria to Indonesia, a 1000 years ago there was not one Islamic country. Today a tiny Jewish nation & a large Hindu country survive. It was not a peaceful transition but a brutal bloody one. But no more! Hindus and Jews have stood up.

This Vijayanagara period temple was devastated by Islamic invaders. They also demolished Nagalamman temple here & built a mosque. After the fort was taken over by the British, they also built a church inside the fort. The worshipping was completely stopped for 400yrs. Pathetic..
Architectural Wonders@Archwonders

Jalakandeswarar temple, Vellore Fort, Tamilnadu exhibits the finest Vijayanagara style of architecture. This Shiva temple was subjected to Islamic destruction & the main deity was shifted to another temple to safeguard it from mutilation. In 1981, the deity was reinstalled.

We've noticed sculptures of Serpent in its original form, But this one is really spl bcz they've carved the figurine of Nagini at Ramappa Temple, Telangana. Ichchadhari Nagin which is the story line of many serials & films was prevalent in the minds of sculptors centuries ago.

Gandaberunda from Srirangam Temple, TN. The double headed eagle with human torso is the powerful incarnation of Bhagwan Vishnu. Gandaberunda is the symbol of strength. The same one more magnificent sculpture can be witnessed at Balligavi temple, KA worshipped as Benrundeshwara.

One of the Madanikas carved exquisitely on the top of a pillar at the Navaranga of 12c Brahmeshwara temple, Kikkeri, KA is so graceful. The 4 main pillars are adorned with the sculptures of Madanikas. At present there are only 8 such sculptures. Few of them were stolen long back

This is the naturally formed tallest Shivalinga popularly known as Siddeshwarnath located at the tranquil Kardo forest of Arunachal Pradesh. It is said to be 24ft tall. The river Ganga always circumambulates Shivalinga at its lower base. It's so serene & divine..!!

A treasure in ruins Somewhere in Kathmandu, Nepal. Magnificent Shivalingas which were supposed to be worshipped in glory are standing without abode. There are thousands of such murthis or Lingas which are abandoned. #savetemples

Tears roll down when a devotee of Bhagwan Ganesha witnesses this idol which is disfigured & desecrated by islamic invaders at the World Heritage site of Khajuraho. Completely neglected to restore by ASI. But Devotees resumed worship, though it is mutilated.
