Dine-dashers who ran up a £540 bill at a steakhouse and then legged it without paying are being hunted by police. A group of people enjoyed a slap-up meal at Miller & Carter in Kettering on April 6 between 5pm and 7.10pm before calmly walking out leaving the £539.70 tab unpaid. Northamptonshire Police have now released CCTV images of the suspects and are appealing for anyone who recognises them to come forward. It’s the second time in weeks the same branch has been hit by dine-and-dashers. Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 26000213409.

One of the things that puts me off getting an EV is that most vehicles seem to achieve much less than their claimed range in road tests. I've heard owners struggling to get 200 miles from a car with a published range of 300. Do EV owners find the same drawback in practice?

Both dealers were the polar opposite when it comes to their stock profiles. GVE were mainly SOR which made them look great but clearly they weren’t giving themselves enough headroom for further issues/warranty work on Super/Hyper cars. Targa Florio it turns out owned most of their stock but still owe many for cars they sold on SOR which is awful. Especially as they are currently radio silent. Both scenarios suggest major cash flow issues and businesses getting caught out by rising overheads. Targa Florio was a huge surprise though without doubt.

Two high profile car dealers who were selling investment cars have gone bust in the last 2 months. If dealers can’t make money, does that tell you something? Genuinely interested in your thoughts.
