Forcing a 1x1 pixel window with always on top on a full screen VRChat window will vsync properly for Elgato's 4k X capture card. I have no idea why, but a quick python script seems to be all I needed to get rid of screen tearing in my recordings. @elgato Pinging incase useful.

@elgato Also hi, sponsor me id love to do more coverage of VRChat specifically with elgato products. I have a lot of positive to say about this medium, and capturing stuff in social VR is very important to me. :3

@Uncle_Skeleton I would say its still noticeable. It feels like maybe 1 / 5th of a second of delay. Just enough for audio sync but still not something you would want to use as an obs preview window.

@RolltheredDev I'm curious, what is the latency like on something like this for capturing high res & hz content? I got the 4K60 Pro Mk2 they used to sell because I imagined PCIe would provide quicker throughput since skipping host cont. Is it imperceptible on preview?

Got an Elgato 4k X now. Will report back how well it works out in VRChat later.

I think I have enough improvement ideas to make VRC Light Volumes 3.0. But more features means more if's and for's, which increases shader compilation time dramatically. Would be really nice to have global keywords specifically for Light Volumes, which would solve this issue.
