I had to fire my best sales person today She was excellent at her job and brought millions in revenue But I discovered she did something truly horrifying She was contacting clients without double opt-in GDPR consent forms I confronted her in my office immediately "Oh it's nothing, it's standard practice in America" she said That was all I needed to hear from this disgusting woman I fired her on the spot and clawed back her last 3 months of salary as punishment Luckily I already found her replacement My wife's new boyfriend Luigi just completed his third master's degree in Business Ethics He starts in October after his mandatory 16-week summer holiday Sometimes a problem solves itself for the better

you need to be delusionally optimistic negative thinking poisons your brain and leads to congitive decline whereas positive thinking, and gaslighting yourself into thinking everything is amazing, ACTUALLY makes your life amazing too. you must be a silly goose

Teachers average among the least intelligent university graduates. Little of what they 'learn' is even relevant to what they end up doing. In a given year, the lowest-scoring groups on the GRE, SAT, and ACT are usually those pursuing degrees in education.

Actually neither of us are qualified to homeschool children because we both have not obtained degrees in childhood education hope this helps, Allie.

1960s Czech movies are crazy, as well as crazy good. Here's a few I've seen that YOU ought to watch as well: Fantastic Planet (1967 Franco-Czech co-production; better science fiction film than any anime I've seen) Prague Nights (1969) horror/fantasy anthology Invention For Destruction (1958) the most amazing "animation" I've ever seen, based on a strange combination of cardboard cut-outs, stop-motion, and live-action. Everyone ought to see this. The trailer is shown below. Also, Karel Zeman, the director of Invention For Destruction, did a bunch of other crazy fantasy movies all worth watching. One's about some boy scouts who sail down a river into the past and meet prehistoric monsters.

I think Pico, Meta, and YVR are all taking their next thin and light premium headsets in the same direction. They are basically iterating on the Vision Pro approach, with a clear focus on making it lighter and cheaper. That part makes sense. The real challenge is pricing. How do you get people to accept $1,500 or more? This is not just a more expensive headset. It is a new price band, and it has to be a new premium line with a clearly higher standard. A big part of the cost increase on this route comes from moving to micro OLED displays. micro OLED is a major technology upgrade, no question. The problem is that it cannot carry the entire value proposition on its own. If the only obvious difference is sharper visuals, people will still walk away thinking it is basically a higher spec Quest. And Meta has already anchored VR and MR pricing at $200 to $500 with Quest. In that context, asking for an extra $1,000 just does not land. To truly earn a $1,500 plus price point, the upgrade has to be end to end. Hand and eye interaction has to feel effortless and instantly responsive. The OS needs to look and feel premium. Build quality, fit and finish, and every small detail has to feel unmistakably elevated. Users should try it once and immediately know this is not in the same class as Quest. That is how you build a real premium series. Otherwise, if it is mostly a parts upgrade, people will see it as a Quest with a nicer spec sheet, and sales will be ugly.

If your research output is mostly running some regressions over third-party cross-sectional data, pumping your lit review for all it’s worth, floating some causal words into the title, and calling it good, then you should be very, very worried by agentic change. But let’s be honest, that was never really creating much in the first place. And yes, substantial portions of whole disciplines meet the definition above.
