My current best view: Trump lets tariff reactions play out for a few weeks. Sees the trend of capitulations and is emboldened to keep going. He fields offers from everyone. Negotiates with no one. Then brings everyone to MaL in a month or two and puts an offer on the table: Bretton Woods 2.0. It’s simpler and more effective to have one Grand Bargain than negotiate piecemeal with 80 countries+. I am focused on figuring out what terms matter most for the MaL Accords. I have a few in mind which are obvious and would kingmake the US. I don’t buy this whole “end of US hegemony”. This is the moment to go for the jugular and establish world order around America.

@WhiteHouse All you needed to do was offer a genuine thank you! You visit our President’s house, once again asking for help, only to insult your adversary as a “negotiation” tactic. Then, when our President points out that the U.S. has funded you for years, you act offended. Let’s not forget your actions during his campaign—showing up with the opposing side (which should’ve been flagged as foreign interference) and signing missiles! It’s clear you want to be seen as the war-torn hero, but you’re prolonging this conflict with kickbacks to your so-called “supporters.” Now you’re off to Europe to renegotiate with them? Good luck! We in the U.S. wish you well, but we’re done with “no strings attached” funding—Europe likely won’t offer you a better deal either. And now Europe’s turning back to us for help? You, sir, are a joke. We want to help Ukraine find peace, but you’re standing in the way.

We are very grateful to the United States for all the support. I’m thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion.

Ready to have your mind blown? Senator John Kennedy on Elon Musk and DOGE exposing USAID, “I'll tell you what Mr. Musk discovered. I find it fascinating. He discovered: - The American taxpayers are giving money to Afghanistan - He found that we are giving money to Yemen - He found that we are giving money to Syria - He found that the USAID has 10,000 people employees, and every year they give away $40 billion - He found that the USAID gave money to support electric vehicles in Vietnam. Our money, taxpayer money - He found that the USAID gave money to a transgender clinic in India. “I didn't know that. I bet you the American people didn't know that” - He found that USAID gave $1.5 million to a Serbian LGBTQ group, they got $1.5 million to QUOTE, “advanced diversity, equity, inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities” - They found that USAID spent $164 million to support radical organizations around the world - They gave $122 million of that to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizations - According to this report in Mr. Musk, the USAID has given millions of dollars to quote organizations in Gaza controlled by Hamas - He found that we gave $2 million, USAID did, for sex changes in Guatemala - He found that we gave $20 million to produce a new Sesame Street show in Iraq - He found that we gave $4.5 million of taxpayer money to combat misinformation in Kazakhstan - He found that we gave $10 million, USAID did, of meals to an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group called the Nusra Front - Mr. Musk found that we gave $7.9 million of taxpayer money to a project that would teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid binary gendered language. (The USAID took 8 million bucks and gave it to a bunch of journalists in Sri Lanka to teach them how to avoid binary gendered language) - USAID gave $1.5 million to promote LGBT advocacy in Jamaica - They gave $1.5 million to rebuild the Cuban media ecosystem - They gave $1.5 million for quote, art for inclusion of people with disabilities in Belarus - Another $3.9 million for LGBT causes in Macedonia - $8.3 million for equity and inclusion education in Nepal “I could go all night and many of my colleagues are upset. They're really mad at Mr. Musk. Hell, I think we ought to give him a medal”

Today’s verdict represents the culmination of a legal process that has been bent to the political will of the actors involved: a leftist prosecutor, a partisan judge and a jury reflective of one of the most liberal enclaves in America—all in an effort to “get” Donald Trump. That this case—involving alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago—was even brought is a testament to the political debasement of the justice system in places like New York City. This is especially true considering this same district attorney routinely excuses criminal conduct in a way that has endangered law-abiding citizens in his jurisdiction. It is often said that no one is above the law, but it is also true that no one is below the law. If the defendant were not Donald Trump, this case would never have been brought, the judge would have never issued similar rulings, and the jury would have never returned a guilty verdict. In America, the rule of law should be applied in a dispassionate, even-handed manner, not become captive to the political agenda of some kangaroo court.

@SpeakerJohnson Your statement is meaningless. Trump’s lawyers pleaded their case and was found guilty by a selected jury. So you don’t believe the need to follow the law?

My statement on President Trump trial verdict: Today is a shameful day in American history. Democrats cheered as they convicted the leader of the opposing party on ridiculous charges, predicated on the testimony of a disbarred, convicted felon. This was a purely political exercise, not a legal one. The weaponization of our justice system has been a hallmark of the Biden Administration, and the decision today is further evidence that Democrats will stop at nothing to silence dissent and crush their political opponents.   The American people see this as lawfare, and they know it is wrong—and dangerous. President Trump will rightfully appeal this absurd verdict—and he WILL WIN!

If you're unfamiliar with a divisive issue, unwilling or unable to study history, struggle to distinguish right from wrong, or good from evil, and curry favor by parroting a handful of talking points cribbed from other plagiarists, here's a cliff notes version. Those who wear masks, or hoods, use terror, torture, kidnapping, and murder to advance their objectives - which generally involve a dystopian world completely at odds with liberty, reason, human rights, scientific and economic progress - or support and promote those who do are probably the bad guys.

The “Experts” are finally admitting that Russia is winning the war in Ukraine, but they are still lying about why. The reason is not congressional inaction over further funding. The reason is that Russia has more manpower than Ukraine; it produces more artillery than the West; and it has air superiority. Russia has been using its air power to devastate Ukrainian infrastructure and military positions with enormous FAB bombs. The US doesn’t produce enough air defense to change that reality, especially in light of all the competing demands for that limited supply. In any event, what will happen now is that the Ukraine funding bill will pass, but it won’t change the outcome of the war. What it will do is line a lot of pockets, perhaps for the final time, which is the real objective here.
