What I am seeing from Howard today
• Far too many turnovers in transition and cycle
• High IQ vision. Makes extremely difficult pass to Coronato and its poorly executed. Coronado struggles to get a good shot off
• Is around the net often. Scores off terrible Ger TO and should have got an assist/goal on another net front play
• Struggling to find soft ice and getting scoring chances consistenty
• Defensively, he's been flat out bad

The Oilers should try to win the Cup next year, but maybe the team's future is without McDavid & there should be a modicum of long-term planning for the roster? Like, you might have to trade him either way & they still have Draisaitl for many years...

I believe nothing close to imminent.
Could see GM Stan Bowman interview more than 1 or 2 Candidates who have won Stanley Cups.
General consensus out there is that Bruce Cassidy is the Best HC, not currently Coaching an NHL team.
