GitLab announced a layoff today. Please take this seriously. There will be many, many more. Your assignment is clear: Get skilled with agents and practice shipping to prod. It doesn't matter if you're HR, eng, infra, customer success, admin, ops, sales, whatever. As a Founder/CEO, I can tell you that I won't be hiring any employees who aren't really skilled with agents and able to ship to prod. I'm not alone in this. There is no 'engineering' org in the future.

had this idea over the weekend and somehow ended up building a smol self hosted paas in rust called tsuki basically you run "tsuki deploy ." and it: - builds the docker image locally - compresses and ships it over ssh - loads it remotely with docker - allocates a port automatically - configures caddy as a reverse proxy - runs health checks - exposes the app with a live url deployment metadata is tracked in sqlite too so i can inspect deployments and eventually do rollbacks properly and yea it's kinda inspired by heroku, fly.io and dokku. wanted to keep it small and understandable stack is just: rust, docker, ssh, caddy and sqlite still rough around the edges but honestly really cool with how the whole flow turned out repo: github.com/Kayleexx/tsuki
