In 2011, a neuroscientist at MIT named Dr. Li-Huei Tsai made a discovery that should have been on the front page of every newspaper on Earth.

What lead me there:
I couldn’t focus at school, when I was a child I was diagnosed with ADHD and never got treatment (whether it’s real or not isn’t the point)
So I dropped out of school, my dad was a very strict first gen immigrant and rightfully wouldn’t support me.
I tried to make it but my job opportunities were Subway, Fast food, and picking up boxes in warehouses. I worked 2x jobs 14 hours a day and had to walk to and from work (2.5 hours of walking a day)
My paychecks totaled to 2.4k USD.
I started doing drugs to cope, tolerance built, I took more drugs, harder drugs, started literally losing my mind, staying up for days at a time.
Decided fuck it, took my paycheck bought a 1 way ticket to Europe, lived out like a hippie, met my wife on Tinder.
I’m “conventionally attractive” and probably above average intelligence wise. So she liked me, she had a tough life and is incredibly empathetic to life in general.
I was trying to get better for over a year but everyone I knew was also a crackhead and no matter how much I tried to stop I couldn’t, I didn’t have much of an alternative.
She believed me, I asked her to let me move in so I can get sober, she did.
I owe her my life
