Unai Emery personally leading pursuit for Manzambi with #AVFC close to full agreement for signing. 👀🎳 Personal terms agreed on long term deal / now almost full agreement on €60m package. 💰 Youngster pursued by #NUFC and was set for Eddie Howe project but rejected once Unai called. 🧨💣 Opens up door for #Arsenal to advance further with Morgan Rogers, as I said this morning, the first offer was sent, now it’s all adding up, stop doubting me.

@JUSTIN_AVFC_ Attentive in fairness means fuck all, the lad is just not sure on Newcastle and is keeping his options open a bit longer.

I’ll drop Morgan Rogers news tonight, maybe after the England game to celebrate (if we win). 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Yes it’s more than an agreement on personal terms, it’s to do with club to club, I always reported the agreement on personal terms / five year contract etc… same with bruno g as you all found out. 🎳 don’t doubt the franchise / will drop soon. bruno g, rogers and tzolis news as well as an update on defensive situation - weird one to comment on as verdict on saliba isn’t finalised. 👀💣 #AFC

@RonanKenny6 @ArsenalRadar I think so too. Unless Newcastle decide to honour the gentleman agreement and let him go. Arsenal won't break the back for him.

🚨 Luke Edwards explains Arsenal’s reported negotiation strategy for Bruno Guimarães: 🇧🇷 According to Edwards, this is what’s known as the “conditioning stage” of a negotiation. The idea is that Arsenal are allowing agents, media reports, transfer insiders and even the player’s stance to gradually increase pressure on Newcastle, with the hope of softening the club’s position and encouraging them to accept a lower fee than their initial valuation. 🗞️ @LukeEdwardsTele

@afcfranchise I’m guessing you’re waiting till after the game so that Rogers doesn’t get distracted by the media noise, but you also don’t want Fabrizio or David O to drop the exclusive first so you dropped a teaser now. Intriguing stuff. I’m hoping you are the real deal bruv.

@fiko_amoako Common sense is fine if it suits both parties but Arsenal are not at the figure Newcastle want so he needs to accept that get on with it.

@RonanKenny6 And at the same time we are human beings who can talk and negotiate any problem we encounter, right? If not, whats the use of common sense?

I hear that Bruno Guimaraes does not want to go in the Isak direction which is good to hear. So what if Newcastle decides to give him the Isak treatment? I understand Isak had a verbal agreement with Newcastle, something similar to what Bruno Guimaraes is doing where Newcastle gave their word. So what happens of Newcastle says, you're not going anywhere and you have to play for us or be frozen out? @HandofArsenal do you know the contingency plan for a scenario like that?
HandofArsenal@HandofArsenal

- Bruno G has directly told Eddie Howe he wants to join the English Champions - Kia still doing all the communication between the clubs - Arsenal internally discussing another offer - Bruno G preferably wants it sorted before pre-season either way but wont do a Isak.

@fasakinolawale @ArsenalRadar They will only consider the offer if its a big big offer thats the only way they get out of this intact, offer will have to be big enough that fans see it would be silly to reject. Arsenal dont generally make those sort offers (Rice aside) so this very likely wont get done

@ArsenalRadar This is just going to anger them. Of course, there’s a chance they consider our offer due to age & wanting to respect the player. But if they decide it’s business, there’s little we can do. They’ll have an unhappy player that won’t be worth half the money in 1 yr. NU’s decision

One thing I've noticed about Arsenal under this current regime is that they rarely allow themselves to be bullied in the transfer market. People forget that Arsenal wanted Moisés Caicedo badly, but the moment Brighton kept pushing the price higher than what the club believed was reasonable, they walked away. Same thing happened with Benjamin Šeško. Arsenal admired him, but when RB Leipzig's demands became too much, they stepped back. Same with Mykhailo Mudryk. Everyone remembers the saga. Shakhtar wanted an enormous fee, Arsenal refused to be dragged into a bidding war and Chelsea took him instead. Even Sandro Tonali. Arsenal liked him, but once the overall cost became excessive, they moved on. The only deal they refused to walk away from was Declan Rice. And every single day that passes makes it look like money well spent. Arsenal clearly believed he was worth breaking the bank for, and so far he's proving exactly why. So when I see people saying Arsenal must pay whatever Newcastle ask for Bruno Guimarães or whatever Aston Villa ask for Morgan Rogers, I just don't see it happening. If Arsenal believe the valuation isn't fair, they'll simply walk away. They've done it before and they'll do it again. Arsenal have shown time and time again that they'll pay big when they truly believe a player is worth it. But they won't pay any price just because another club demands it. That's been their strategy for years now, and I don't see it changing this summer.

Juventus want Emi Martínez but Aston Villa have no reason to accept a bargain offer. 🦁🧤 He's still among the Premier League's elite, has three years left on his deal, and could even become a back-to-back World Cup winner. What would you accept for Emi? #AVFC #AstonVilla #Transfers #UTV

Worth pointing out that Quansah’s “crime” is the same in FIFA terms as Folarin Balogun’s - serious foul play. Quansah’s one-game ban has been extended to two. Balogun’s was suspended for 12 months when Donald Trump made a phone call.
