There is currently NO effort to bring the new US Dietary Guidelines (the new pyramid) to school lunches for kids. Our children will be fed the same low-fat, protein-poor meals next fall--and maybe forever. The USDA has not begun translating the Guidelines into new administrative rules--current ones are based on 2010 guidelines, with a few Obama-era changes still being enacted. If we get that far, they most certainly will be subpoenaed. I’d prefer they go ahead and flip on their handlers. Tell the truth, instead of the “over-rehearsed” BS answers they gave congressional investigators (not under oath). Either way, it will indeed get very interesting.

Put the plainclothes Capitol Police officers who “found” the second bomb on the stand. Ask them the same questions I asked one of them (and Ashan Benedict as his handler) in my office: why didn’t you immediately begin looking for a third bomb? who told you to go to that area and look for it? why was the bomb not immediately dealt with? and a new question: why did you look so intently under the empty bush where the pipe bomber dwelled for so long the night before? ask ADIC Washington Field Office, Steven D’antuano why he told me (when I asked why they couldn’t use cell data to locate the bomber) the cell data for J5 had been corrupted. This trial could get interesting.
