@jachiam0 We need AI friends to mimic actual human personality eg ppl can be flaky, irritated, not like ur vibe etc. The current iteration of AI friends / monetization models of these bots lead to friend experiences that are “better” / wouldn’t actually make u more sociable.

Weird take on AI and social relationships: contrary to predictions that it will make people more insular, I think there's a good chance AI friends will make people more sociable. Loneliness is partly a skill issue with "lack of practice" a cyclical trap. AI chat breaks the cycle.
