This is the first time he is saying the material could be destroyed in Iran versus we have to take it. In a Truth Social post, Trump outlined three options for Iran's 440 kg enriched uranium stockpile: transfer to the U.S., in-place destruction with Iran's cooperation, or destruction at a third location, all with the IAEA present to verify. Iran has already said the stockpile will not be transferred "under any circumstances."
