@ESPNFANSUPPORT we moved our keeper league from Yahoo to ESPN, is there a way to manually add each team’s respected keeper player and the round they would be losing in the draft?
My head hurts looking through support articles unfortunately and I can’t figure it out :(
Thanks!

How did a goofy bodied former hockey player:
-Become an All-American and National Champion
-Set records in multiple statistical categories
-Never threw a fastball over 90 mph
-Self-admittedly didn’t pass many run tests
And was one of the best pitchers in college baseball history?
Let me introduce you to my friend, Clayton
There’s a few reasons I like Clayton:
-he’s from my hometown
-he wore my number after I graduated
-he loves the Washington Capitals
-he’s hilarious
Do those things make him an elite baseball player?
Absolutely not
The guy is just an anomaly
The guy is just a force of nature…
And more specifically
But hThe truth is, there are 3 the things that ACTUALLY made Clayton one of the most elite talents I’ve ever played with:
The truth is, there are 3 things that ACTUALLY made Clayton one of the most elite talents in college baseball:
ATTITUDE:
Rain or shine, snow or sleet, fire or ice
Clayton was always ready to perform and confident in himself
Crazy enough, he may even admits when he’s nervous
Which in my opinion isn’t a bad thing at all - it shows that he cares and a bit of nerves can actually benefit you as an athlete
(more on this later)
Which I believe is important to expressing care and the ability to perform at the highest level
You need a bit of nerves (more on this later)
Dawg, Swagger, Healthy Narcissism
Whatever you want to call it
Clayton had it. And he was damn good because of it
SUPERLAX MOVER
I remember sitting in the gym one day doing some static stretching after practice and looking over at Clayton in a butterfly position
At first I laughed…
Then I was astonished, as I saw the outside of his knees touching the ground on the opposite sides of him
The outside of both knees were touching the ground on the opposite sides of him
I laughed at first, then was astonished.
When I watched him throw in the 2021 regional I decided to take some side view video of him
And, as expected, the positions he got into were crazy
One of the deepest maximal layback positions I’ve ever seen, incredible spinal extension and adductor length
This undoubtedly helped him sustain his Velo through outings by not relying heavily on arm speed to throw.
He just wound and unwound his body towards the plate and produced fantastic results from it
Which brings me to my last point:
PITCHABILITY
I actually don’t even know what this word really means, but if there was someone to describe it in human form, Clay would be the guy
As you could probably see in the video, clay had ELITE extension.
His fastball looked like 93 when you faced him. But I dont think Idk if it ever got above 88.
Plus, And he could PAINT
I don’t know if I ever got a hit off him in aany live AB scenario. Might’ve K’ed every time
His secret sauce?
Four pitches that he MASTERED better than anyone else
He threw four pitches WELL
And don’t think that this is me ditching the Velo train. It’s not.
But Clay was basically Greg Maddux
(1 in a million)
ADDITIONALLY, you see that Johnny Cueto style hitch before the throw?
He could throw off timing with the best of them.
Athletes like Clay are few and far between.
What makes all this better is that he’s a cool guy and fun to be around
(can’t say the same for a lot of athletes I know)
I wish I could share all the things that make me laugh about Clayton, but that’s more of a private conversation.
Here’s to the weirdest, yet most elite teammate I’ve ever had. I love this guy.
