Canada is strongest when we work together. Today, Canada and Alberta reached an agreement to lower methane emissions in the oil and gas sector — to create good jobs, cut pollution, and help position Canada as the world’s supplier of choice for responsibly-produced energy.

I visited Central Jail Karachi, inspected its facilities, and reviewed administrative matters. I directed authorities to ensure basic amenities for inmates, met prisoners, heard their concerns, and shared Eid greetings. I was briefed on security, health, and food, appreciated the administration, and emphasized prison reforms so inmates can return as productive citizens. I reaffirmed my commitment to protecting prisoners’ rights and improving their conditions.

In light of the current situation, the Government of Sindh has taken austerity measures: To conserve fuel and support the public, the Sindh Cabinet will forgo 3 months’ salaries, 60% of official vehicles have been grounded, and Fridays will be work-from-home. These measures aim to save energy, control prices, and improve transport. We seek public’s cooperation.
