I have a tough client who always seems to nitpick, even though I give them a good price so they’re reaching out now for us to come back because of our quality work. I’m curious as to what will happen when she sees my pricing increase 🤷‍♂️

@RootsFarm2Table My absolute favorite days for the company are when we clean the lumberyard. My 13 and 9 year old will run logs all day for me on the skid steer and mini x. I just direct traffic.

Today I wage war against spending money at the gas station. There is a white monster in there because let’s face it, I will cave and stop to buy an energy drink if I don’t have one.

Yesterday a police officer knocked on our door…. I immediately thought this is it, the rooster is toast 🐔. Thankfully he stayed quiet the officer was responding to a butt dial in the area. He loves to crow another day!!

We have built a successful business and life here in NY but I’m getting tired of the constant increase cost of living. We can’t compete to purchase the farm/property bec private equity and ppl who have half a million cash laying around. Our family is here that’s why we stay

It’s estimate season! Who’s ready to go nonstop? The thing with growing a successful business is nobody can prepare you for the word of mouth referrals. Calls come in unexpectedly and it wonderful. We are scaling this year and I’m honestly very anxious/excited/nervous 🙏

Year 4 of the business, two children and working on more, a homestead, a w2 and everything else on the plate. What’s next!? Who else is grinding trying to beat the odds

Chickens and a garden won’t get you out of this mess. Might save you a little money but not enough to cover how fast utility bills and taxes are going up. Just enjoy life, don’t get caught up in all too much. Pray and ask for strength fight the negative nonsense

@TS_Secrets You need to bring in 4-6 inches of nice topsoil, roll it or compact it. Shade specific grass seed with seed starter. Never let it dry out. Don’t mow until 4” plus

How can I get grass to grow under here? Any grass experts out there? Send help 😂 I’ve tried sod for shade. We trimmed the tree several times to let sun in. Sunday the DIY spray deal and nada.

We built our company through quality work. We have grown exponentially every year through referrals. Well this season is looking to be amazing. The winter off season can be tough but then all of a sudden that phone and email starts going off like fire works. Thank you Lord!
