The Boys isn't one of my all-time favorite shows or anything, but like 95% of the criticism of the recent season I've seen seems to be coming from people who are just half-watching the show and scrolling through their phone. Like what is going on

Now, I'm no Hollywood writer, but I'm sure there was another plot line for Homelander they could have come up with for the final season that didn't include him trying to usurp God. Satire, too often today, is a tool of the cowards to diminish criticism.

@ReelAnarchy @THR Sure, but the point is, "it happened in the comics" wouldn't necessarily influence Kripke's decision when it comes to character deaths (I can guarantee the finale won't follow the last issues of the comic).

The Frenchie death was the most disappointing thing of the season. Homelander kills Frenchie in a lighthearted way? Seriously?

I was wrongly arrested after a restaurant who had “ChudTheBuilder” written down at the host stand before I ever walked in the door, conspired to have me charged. Then, I was held until noon on Mother’s Day. Had to cancel breakfast plans with my family. I was interviewed by the feds and bank account frozen. All electronic devices seized, as well as my firearm. The police cleared my multi-factor authentication keys after they took all my items so now I can’t sign into any of my iCloud or any other accounts. I could not care less about some hat. I am simply weary after 6 months of being attacked by our government for expressing the constitutional freedoms our ancestors fought and died for. Wake up America. It’s not illegal for White people to say the same word they say to each other.

Watched the Roast of Kevin Hart (skipped over Tony Hinchcliffe, obviously), and it wasn't great by any means, but it did get a few laughs out of me. Sheryl Underwood was probably the funniest of the lot.

@MoniKay9295 @UnderstanderArt Yeah the very end was fine, I meant all the stuff with the ark. Even as a kid it all felt very rushed, and there was a huge jump from action adventure to melting faces.

@RorMachine @UnderstanderArt I thought it was fitting. Lost in a government warehouse because of bureaucracy was essentially the same as being lost in the desert for thousands of years.

You should be sent to jail if you ever cite The Big Bang Theory to explain why Raiders of the Lost Ark isn't a great movie.

@theBurk3nator I mean, yeah this is probably Frank at his most brutal, but was that really lacking from any of his previous appearances? I'd take slightly reduced action/violence if it means a better story any day.

The brutality in #PunisherOneLastKill is exactly what fans have been missing from this character, as the final 20 minutes feature this Raid-style series of events that gives Frank all the ammunition he needs to kick some ass. Beyond the incredibly bloody action sequences, there is an emotional buildup in the first half that once again proves why Bernthal is so perfect as Frank. From a story standpoint, it is a bit redundant, hitting on themes and plot threads previously explored numerous times… It doesn’t lack any emotion, but some will see it as a retread. Regardless, as a short special, it will cleanse the palate of anyone clamoring for this version of Frank back on screen.

Nah, not really. There's a character from the Netflix Punisher shows in this, but I think you might actually get more out of One Last Kill having not seen them, as it treads over a lot of the same ground.
