@AlbzSFC I'm retired. I've paid in for my pension. Unlike today's scroungers spending their lives on benefits and having free everything.

My monthly state pension has gone up by 37 quid. But I'm now paying 15 tax on my small private pension. So I'm just over 5 quid a week better off. But I'm not. Because my council tax has gone up 7 quid a month, my water has gone up 10 a month and my energy costs have gone up 8 a month. So I'm worse off. Thanks @Keir_Starmer and @RachelReevesMP 🙄😠

Should IOM & UNHCR be merged? Don't their activities & interests increasingly overlap? Would a merged agency really lose UNHCR's protection impact? Wouldn't major savings come from having fewer meetings, staff, offices, vehicles, senior management salaries & travel costs?

@LeilaniDowding We've had an issue in Cornwall where people come over to work in the NHS, they're prioritised for housing, then, once they get a house, they go on long term sick - Usually PTSD. Instead of learning from this, the NHS then just import more. Been going on for 5 years now.

I don’t understand how foreign people can claim benefits in the UK … When I got my American green card there was a stipulation that I was not entitled to benefits !
