@Lance_Bradley_ Dave Attwood is a good bloke, Farrell (also well off private school educated) treated him terribly. Owen Farrell has a a nauseating entitled attitude, as shown when employing top QCs to get him off more dangerous tackle charges he thought that should only apply to others.

I know this may not be a popular opinion, but whatever anyone thinks of Owen Farrell, he’s a fabulous player, and a top bloke. Signing autographs away from home when his team’s just lost in a semi final. 👌🏻

Wonder if @premrugby will survey @Saracens & @SaleSharksRugby fans to find out why the two semi-finals have clearly been so unappealing to many of the away supporters. Good for the home sides to have more of their fans, but neither game will be settled by who has the most fans!

@CharlieFelix I’m sick of this lilly livered, touchy feely world. Men are being emasculated and being heralded as brave for saying they feel a bit sad. He’s a husband and a father and needs to man up. If everyone is mentally ill then no one is mentally ill. What the fuck are creating here?

For someone who palpably loves representing England as much as Owen Farrell to voluntarily step away from doing so should reinforce what he’s had to confront and absorb, some of which has been appalling. Frankly, it should leave people feeling pretty cold.

1) Who is this aimed at? The original ad came out in 1999. Might as well have them emerging from the Avon in a pair of Levi’s with Stiltskin playing in the background
2) Mobile phones don’t work like this. The set up only works with a landline so the whole think is redundant

@liamkelly51 @londonirish Totally agree, Sarries obviously wanted Saints in semi final as a better bet to get to final. Irish were a big threat to them and didn't want to have to meet them again. Suppose it is a compliment to Irish that they were worried.

@Jbeardmore @RuckinRugby I’d argue this isn’t about demonising men, it’s about getting men to challenge abuse where they see it. Sexual harassment and cat calling is very prevalent, getting people to challenge the behaviour is the best way to stop it. Don’t view that as an attack on men in general…

@Jbeardmore @RuckinRugby I would say most men have at some pint observed cat calling or harassment of women. Just like you said society needs to be careful how we talk about men JB, we need to be careful about how we talk about and to women.

@Jbeardmore @RuckinRugby To your point John, I couldn’t possibly know. With both of your points the ad states that ‘violence starts with words’. Talking about women isn’t abuse but not calling out verbal abuse of women can lead to that behaviour escalating.
