We hear stories like this come in every day. This is why we refuse to stay silent or forget what went on in our nation.
This was and still is unacceptable.
It should never have happened, and the brutal consequences and impact on people's lives are continuing.

@BrookevanVelden Hint: passed under urgency. Why the urgency?
English

@BrookevanVelden Are you stating this to the women who's pay equity claims have just been binned?
English

@winstonpeters What tasks are being sacrificed to deliver more frontline police. We KNOW the overall numbers of police officers are barely increasing.
English

New Zealanders care that we will have delivered five hundred extra police on the front line keeping our streets safe.
They don’t care if we reach that number of NEW EXTRA POLICE in November or a few weeks after that.
The media need to stop acting like they’ve got ants in their pants with this beltway bovine scatology.
By the way, NZFirst promised and is delivering MORE FRONTLINE POLICE than any other party campaigned on…for a third time in government - let’s see the media report on that…crickets.
English

@NZNationalParty All I heard was making it more affordable. So, in other words, taking money from people. In this case, women.
English

@rosey_nz @jacindaardern @NZNational @actparty @nzfirst If the actions are c#ntlike, then the actions are c#ntlike.
English

The Left
Calling @jacindaardern Cindy, a Nazi or a Communist is 'harmful, sexist and abusive'.
The Same Left
Calling @nznational @actparty @nzfirst female MP's c**ts and Nazi's is totally justified.
Obviously The Left includes most of NZ's MSM.
English

@NicolaWillisMP I don't believe anyone called you a c#nt. They just said your actions were c#nt like. And that is a fair call.
English

Having the C-word directed at me by a journalist in a mainstream publication wasn’t on my bingo-list for Mother’s Day 2025. Nor was being accused of ‘girl-math’. Enough with the slurs, now for some facts: thepost.co.nz/politics/36068…

I have requested the following information under the Official Information Act to see if there is a basis to ask more specific questions in New Zealand.

@NZFreeSpeech She didn't call anyone a c#nt. It was more of describing their actions as c#ntlike, which is fair.
English

@theplatform_nz @SeanPlunket His children are old now so he has to try and parent everyone else's who didn't have the same sheltered and privileged upbringing?
English

#WATCH @SeanPlunket: Why is the Prime Minister obsessed with the under-16s social media ban?
English

@winstonpeters Imagine an old man who sometimes pretends to be deputy Prime Minister calling people losers publicly because they don't agree with his old man ways. Out to pasture, you go.
English

Yesterday there was a coordinated leftwing smear job against NZFirst by Andrea Vance in the Sunday Star Times.
The article is so full of dubious falsehoods they should be embarrassed to print it and seriously worried about defamation.
Andrea Vance and her leafy suburb green mates just can’t quite understand why NZFirst keeps going up in the polls - so she acts like the mouth breathing News of the World journalist she is and resorts to smearing people that disagree with her obvious left wing bent.
She breathlessly accuses others of being conspiracy nuts - but the irony is she is the one who has found herself in her own deluded leftwing dirty politics rabbit hole.
It’s any wonder trust in media is at an all time low.
We’ve got news for Andrea Vance and her fellow leftwing loser mates and it’s all bad - NZFirst is just getting warmed up.
English

@JudithCollinsMP Pulling the wool over the eyes of the public by scrapping the pay equity claims under urgency (with zero explanation of why this (of all things!!!) was urgent), was a fairly c#nt move though.
English

The hypocrisy has been noted. Absolutely disgraceful.
David Farrar@dpfdpf
It is astonishing that media have run multiple articles condemning sexist attacks on female MPs from social media users, but then turn around and run a column from a journalist that calls female Ministers c**ts. The hypocrisy is massive.
English

@BarryYoungNZ You're just trying to be a pain. Such a d!ck move.
English

@chrisluxonmp It's almost like you are completely avoiding posting about your urgent changes to pay equity law. We all know that this was purposely announced AFTER your post cabinet talks with the media. It's almost like you know how sh!t it is.
English

Just had a great discussion with Anna Curzon and Nicole Green from B416 - a community group that is advocating for a minimum age of 16 for social media.
I’m also very concerned about the harm social media can do to young people - which is why today National launched a Member’s Bill in Parliament to restrict social media use for under-16s.

English

@ThePosieParker @micmarierose I'll reflect on that next time you wear a manly pant suit
English

@micmarierose It's funny how you really cannot connect the dots.
English

@HobsonsPledgeNZ Your efforts in displaying your racism by mispelling words does not go unnoticed.
English

@NZNationalParty Also known as, hey people here's a few extra bucks brough to you by cancelled pay equity claims.
English

@actparty Until your government explains why this was needed to be done under urgency, you have zero credibility.
English

BREAKING: Brooke van Velden's bill to fix Labour's unfair, unworkable and unsustainable pay equity legislation has passed its final reading in Parliament.
This will bring back common sense by making sure claims are based on real evidence of discrimination, not sweeping assumptions that ignore real differences in skills, training, and responsibility or absurd comparisons between the pay of social workers and air traffic controllers.
