one thing I do in the gym is I take a very small dumbbell and walk around with it, bend over to pick it up with suboptimal form, do weird motions with it in general, to test for weak spots I *think* this helps with something indirectly related to weird injuries when lifting kids babies are wiggly and don't tolerate Only Good Form

When I described to my husband the psychological torture the other girls put me through in high school he was horrified. He said he’d rather get physically beaten up. Women are in many ways more brutal than men

@J_K_Wood It’s negative utilitarianism, which is the dominant view of the modern left. The ultimate goal is to eliminate all suffering, so therefore it’s better to die than experience suffering. They see it as mercy killing. Completely demonic.

I firmly believe that every Christian parent should require their children to go on at least one overseas mission trip before they turn 18. It is a perfect way to teach them gratitude before they go out into the adult world
