@GMB As much as I'd like a day off, no. I can WFH or be in the office. The air con was freezing in the office. I'll just be happy with a fan at home 🙂 plus even if I'm not outside, the hot weather puts me in a better mood for work!

@GMB I have an autistic child. He really can't cope with the loud and busy destinations. We go in term time while it's quieter. A week is not going to lose anything.

£41 million in fines for term-time holidays were issued to UK parents and guardians between 2022 and 2024. However, it can still be cheaper for families to go away in term-time. Is it time to stop the fines for taking kids out of school to go on holiday?
