@GreyAlien was a "hit" always the goal or just a side effect? i suspect your non-hits were a sustainable business otherwise you probably wouldn't have made 16 of them!

6% of the 17 games we made were hit games and that is basically only our most recent game, Forbidden Solitaire. We made them linearly over 21 years, so you can’t assume this % is your chance of making a hit game especially if it’s your first game.

Day 2 of replicating those shitty mobile ads using Box3D: added a fitting city setting and some manhole lore. Feels fun to play, but the city it needs some life next! The models are all prompted in @omma_ai Studio

Day 1 of replicating those shitty mobile ads using Box3D: added the basic gameplay loop and scoring system, it's working fine! I am using the Box3D WASM port from @isaac_mason_ inside @omma_ai

@TimberWulfe hmmm, i don't have any so i am not sure! i think it's mostly for hard surfaces though because it's on the buffing head.

@TheShogunTYO i have fledgeling japanese and have been invited into homes within days of meeting new japanese people, recruited enthusiastically into social groups, adored by seniors, ect. i guess it's my pretty girl privilege.

A tale as old as time: embracing the bubble. Most well adjusted Gaijin primarily hang out with other foreigners (and English-speaking Japanese). They're the happy ones. They've accepted it. That doesn't mean don't try to integrate and learn Japanese though.

PSA for game devs, next year Apple is removing support for intel x86/x64 apps, which means if you don't update your game/app they'll stop working in MacOS 28.
