@hussainlabour Not even your own party's first choice as candidate, then not even turning up to give an account of yourself to potential constituents?

Not a poor show, I was just poorly. But happy to spar with you anytime Mhairi about how we arrest SNP decline that has turned Govanhill into flytipping capital of Scotland and denies women access to single sex spaces.

@OllyGibbs That is a *grotesque* price, let alone for a Brixton show where they won't have the same amount of staging bells and whistles. Looking more and more like my last two times seeing them (SBE and Belfast) will be my LAST two times seeing them.

Muse are absolutely taking the piss of £145 for standing tickets. Radiohead recently were £85. Not a chance.

@GovanhillGo My biggest hope is that it gets the council to be more aggressive in CPO for the Egyptian halls given most of the same factors exist (vape shop, food premises; cosmetics as potential accelerants) on top of the neglect of the building meaning potential spread.

Theres not a lot of upside to this situation but i presume Union St will be shut for a while . Could be an opportunity to take stock of a lot of different aspects of whats going on in it inside and outside these buildings including the traffic and safety issues.

@chase_blount Out of interest chase, are your parents paying your uni fees out of pocket, or are we subsiding your education? Because if it's the latter, I want my money back to "subsidise" some of those kids: they'll no doubt make better use of it than you.

Having a child is a huge decision, if you can’t afford to raise that child and expect taxpayers to subsidise you, then maybe having a child isn’t for you.

You are totally delusional, you forget to factor in so many other things, the salaries were tiny in comparison to later days, people didn't have cars, foreign holidays, interest rates weren't high, do some research into the finances of the era you are talking about rather than swallow the propaganda.

Pensioners will get more money next year thanks to our commitment to the triple lock. We're supporting pensioners to give them the security in retirement they deserve. Labour is cutting the cost of living.

@AnasSarwar @johnadgrady Do all roads still lead back to Westminster, or is that no longer expedient? Better check in with head office.

A 19-year-old footballer waiting 5 hours for an ambulance. A grandfather with stage 4 cancer waiting 15 hours in A&E. A grandmother paying £10,000 for private care. That’s the human cost of SNP incompetence. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…

@pillowcoolside7 @_DIGB @Dant29890 @SelfBuildDreams Did that man's wealth come to pass without the labour of a publicly educated workforce, who had publicly subsidised healthcare? Did it, in any capacity, profit from publicly subsidised road and rail? Is its property secured by a publicly funded legal system? Astronomically dense

I am so serious when I say that the 32% of people that oppose free bus travel for under 22 year olds should be identified and sent to the moon An island of people addicted to misery that only wants to inflict further misery on the younger generation
YouGov@YouGov

Would you support or oppose free bus travel for under‑22 year olds? Support: 57% Oppose: 32% Net support by age 18-24: +67 25-49: +33 50-64: +10 65+: -2 Results link in following tweet

@LSheasby Depends on the roads, surely. 3 miles of largely motorway Vs 3 hours of windy country roads (even if A roads) are TOTALLY different.

Question for UK folk: would you consider a 3 hour drive somewhere an effort? Arguing with friends. Whilst perfectly doable, I think it's a ballache. They're entirely unfazed.

Yesterday they gave £3bn to Thames Water. Today they have to take £5bn off Disabled people. It should be the other way around.
