That’s funny because for me, Hurry does okay. If anything it could get over a little sooner as it waits till it’s 0.3 or 0.2 miles from the exit Mad Max waits so long it’s the only times I’ve missed an exit because it waited too long It tries to stay left and go fast but then it’s too late to make the exit

Possibly the only thing I really hate about FSD right now is that Hurry and Mad Max get over way too soon for exits on the highway Like, Mad Max, why are getting over 0.8mi before the exit and sitting behind traffic doing 5 under the speed limit when we were just doing 20 over??

I have to keep doing these dumb cheats, like for the car wash I go to (it's brushless), I put a PIN nearby for it to stop there, and then i just turn in to the gas station/car wash myself. Or else it'll awkwardly drive around as people think I'm trying to put gas in it, or I have to disengage FSD. Maybe I'm overthinking it but the insurance point is a good one

Yes, this is why I say we really need to have an option to choose exactly where to stop because technically we're sending a lot of information that does not need to be reviewed by test because it's not really an issue with the FSD. It's just an issue with the person I'm trying to pick up. giving me that option to choose exactly what spot I want to stop at would fix all of those problems. And also when it comes to Tesla insurance, you know the less I drive the better the insurance and as you can see in my video there are days where I had zero driving at all, but that's very rare even a .05 miles counts on the Tesla safety score tracking

yeah, that makes sense. Probably the best use case for it. Normally, you want to disengage FSD so you can share the feedback with Tesla, but they are obviously well aware of parking issues and situations where there isn't an exact stopping/parking spot, so keeping the streak to represent everything outside of that isn't really inaccurate [in my opinion]

Well yea.. For me. I do uber and lyft.. So I need to pickup people.. Most of the time they are not were the car want to stop.. They are eaither walkint towards me.. or a few feet away. Or the car has no clue where to stop.. Or they are on the side of the main road and the car just does not want to pull over there.. Or the car wants to drive into Mexico to make a U turn to turn around.

As far as I know, the different ways to stop FSD without it burning up the intervention reason prompt and breaking the streak (like if you’ve arrived successfully but FSD is confused and driving around in circles, not to do when you’re about to crash obviously lol) are - out the car in neutral - open a door - unbuckle your seatbelt

Yeah it’s in the controls on the touch screen. Someone was posting about how they were driving with FSD and the passenger was messing around with the screen and it the car in neutral, which exited FSD and almost caused an accident. You have to press and hold it so it’s not easy to accidentally do it, but I tried it out and realized the streak continues after you get back in FSD

@RotundBarista @NevrEnoughX @DavidMoss I don't see an option to be able to put it into neutral even when I use the controls at top those are disabled. Of course I'm on a 2026 model why so it has to be on the touchscreen

@NevrEnoughX @TheWis65 @DavidMoss You can also put the bar in neutral and it disengages FSD but doesn’t break the streak (it continues when you put FSD back on).

@TheWis65 @DavidMoss So open door at a stop and car will go into park. Then I can drive manually and it won’t affect my streak?

@tomwarren The OS is stable but some apps like Google Photos lock up and need to be quit/relaunched occasionally The only bug I saw with beta 1 that is gone now is if you took a screen shot and cropped it before saving, it just saved the full screen shot without the crop edit

@JustonBrazda Streak yes (1,069 miles) Total no (5,074) (Current ongoing streak is close to 20 miles as I had to break a 430 mile streak a few weeks ago and that 1069 one last week)

If you manually park in the driveway a few times, I wonder if that might help train it? I also have a weird driveway where the car has to park at a weird angle to reach the charger so I put parking lines which it actually uses when I park manually. It shows the parking icon. So that might be why it gives the driveway option and understands how to go in at that slant

Tesla owners, what shows up for your home parking locations? Why do some people have "garage" and others "charger"? I only have "charger," but my MYP 🐼 has still yet to properly find my driveway even though I have charger selected, which is located in my garage.
