@PatriotSassy I think you should stop giving altogether. 1) I don't think you can know for sure it doesn't go to Rome. 2) The domestic catholic church spends a LOT of money on things you rightly oppose. Assisting illegal immigrants. Supporting democrat abortionist politicians. Etc...

I am a practicing Catholic. Have been all my life, waaaayyyy over half a century. But I’ve had it with these damn popes getting political!! I couldn’t stand Pope Francis. 😤 We catholics are taught to believe that the pope is divinely chosen. That he is infallible. But I’m sorry, this one and the last one are hardly infallible. 😒 I had hopes for Leo but I had also heard that he was a liberal early on. Already, I can see he’s no better than Francis. Please, stop making Catholics feel like we have to choose.
Because I’ll choose Jesus always, but you are NOT Jesus!! I will NOT change my stance on my president! I will support him, however, the one thing I CAN control? How much money I put in the kitty every week. 💰 And right now, I’m not putting ANY money in that’s intended for Rome. Until the holy father stays out of our politics, he gets not one. red. cent. from me! His job is to lead people to Christ like a shepherd, not to “pontificate” on @POTUS @DonaldTrump! @Pontifex

We got spoiled rotten with the best governor in the country, maybe the best ever.
With Ron DeSantis.
I always knew it would be very difficult if not impossible to replace him.
We were told for years now, rightfully so, that Florida is no longer a swing state. Its solid red!! (Thanks to him, btw)
Many Floridians I speak to, feel that way. And they are correct.
However, the Republican candidates currently running are just horrible.
Byron is disliked. Or tolerated at best.
Collins is running a dumpster fire of a campaign.
I am not saying that Florida is a swing state again.
But what if it is? What if we are setting ourselves up for an absolute disaster to wake up to on November 4?
I don’t have the answer. Nor am I necessarily asking a question.
But I am concerned.
We absolutely CANNOT have another Democratic governor here. Ever!
Especially not with the weak Republican legislators we have.
