There ya go! OPEX once again marks a local top!
RowRowTrades@RowRowTrades
I think we’re probably gonna start seeing correction here soon. This rally is wild. We’ve got OPEX on VIX and spy rolling off this week and like I said last time, OPEX typically marks, local tops and bottoms in the market because the positioning there completely resets.

Same sort of thesis with this except instead of a bounce we get a drop.

I really really believe the markets will bounce over the weekends. Big OPEX’s like today typically mark tops and bottoms in the market.

GM Team!
We are in a market of squeezes and extremes with all this negative gamma exposure. If this negative gex sticks around. This week we have some catalysts coming with ISM manufacturing today and trump speaking this afternoon. The market right now is rallying off of a mechanical bounce and hope that a deal will be reached soon. We aren't above major resistance and major EMAs yet but are approaching the 20/21 daily ema's and they should provide some sort of overhead resistance. It is pretty unusual that stocks are rallying as much as they have off of the strength of oil. stocks are nowhere near lows if oil stays at these levels and especially if it keeps going higher. That is just my (@RowRowTrades) opinion. Cautiously bullish but this pull back can turn around at any point
Our plays for today We have $META to the upside to fill its airgaps to the 20/21dma it has a little bit of a wedge on the 1hr break of 583 = entries
2nd play We have $TSLA short after it showed incredible relative weakness on Thursday
3rd play Semis long. just overall they look like the strongest sector and have a possible breakout today. Watching $AMD $INTC within that sector.
Good luck everybody!

Get yourself a mentor.
Everybody should have a mentor — someone older who is doing life well in their marriage, with their kids, and in their friendships.
Find a mentor whose life is producing real fruit in all of those areas.
Find someone you can go to for advice. Someone who will hold you accountable. Someone who will encourage you. Someone who will help sharpen you into the person you’re called to be.
A mentor can save you years of mistakes!!!

@TapeRDR Tenet has some fantastic traders at the moment and chat is lively as always. Of course @ripster47 doing his thing everyday, even when he’s on vacation in Europe. But deff miss you in there. Even though we have similar bangers, you had a way of calling it out and hyping it up.

I spent a lot of time in Ecuador thinking about trading and what my future looks like. I know I've said in the past that I'm almost done and I'm going to retire fully once again pretty soon. That has not changed and that is still my plan as I believe the next 30 years of my life can be spent in better ways than trying to make more wealth. That being said, I thought about the people along the way of my journey over the last three decades who have really helped me and also been there to encourage me. I thought about my past relationships with brokers in new york, Chicago and in California. Numerous people come to mind like Doug Frederick, Adam Korazyn, David Rainbeau and Joe Eli. These guys were pivotal to me early on in my career helping me achieve success in trading and financial rewards. I thought about the recent people in my life and I just wanted to say thank you to @ripster47 . He is probably the most genuine down to earth honest trader in this industry that I've ever met and I've met a lot. He gave me a home to plant my flag for a few years and I really appreciate that. I really appreciate the fact that he trusted me to lead the room to make money @TENETTRADEGROUP and he honored me along the way.
I don't want anyone to think that your trading journey is going to be easy nor you can do it all by yourself. Along the way you find people that will help you and encourage you to become better and also just to talk about life.
You cannot live life in a vacuum and you need friends. I have been blessed with really good friends in the trading category along with life!
I'm grateful 🥲

Win rate is overrated.
Over the past 6–8 weeks I’ve tracked ~240 trades across futures, options and equities in my trading and swing books.
Including losses, here’s the return distribution:
0–50% → ~32%
50–100% → ~28%
100–300% → ~25%
300%+ → ~13%
Median trade: ~+100%
Now the key point: Roughly 20% of trades drive ~70% of total returns.
That’s the entire edge.
Not win rate.
Not prediction.
Payoff structure.
losses are limited
convex trades dominate outcomes
Those larger moves tend to appear when:
volatility expands
positioning becomes unstable
flows accelerate
I’m not trying to predict every move.
I’m trying to be positioned when the market misprices magnitude.
That’s what I focus on inside MikshuAlpha.
