Are you saying wheelchair users should be denied access to houses because of your aesthetic preferences?

@CtRLiberty no we shouldn't. But it's dumb to put avoidable obstructions in new builds, like steps up to a front door.

@rich_rdctd And what if someone disabled wants to visit a friend in a house with steps up to the front door? Or if an able bodied person in such a house becomes disabled?

No, you're right of course. Actually I just installed a new kitchen. But I fitted it with super low counters and cupboards just in case someone who's vertically challenged decides to buy it after me. I also installed lots of grab rails and a stairlift in case an older person buys it.
