@Roy37934 @BlackDumpling Democracy is a balance of everyone's rights - including AB Canadian loyalists, Canadian's in neighboring provinces whose borders/mobility rights would be affected, Canadian's in other parts of the country who work in AB, indigenous persons, etc.

10% ALBERTAN GDP PLAN: America should offer to invest 10% of whatever Alberta's GDP is in investment every year for ten years if they secede from Canada. I mean we should throw every single thing we've got behind this. Make every promise under God's green earth. This could be the first real Crack in the Western Left. A straight up national dissolution of Canada would make this as real as a punch in the face. America could, and should, do this. A free Alberta provides enormous economic security for America, and vast investment in their infrastructure addresses virtually every grievance Alberta has. There would be massive upsides for all parties.
