Our last half day in the park started off dreadfully slow. Nothing moving around and seemed to be a step behind every sighting. That's when we came around the corner to this tiny Rhino calf and its mother to make the day! Then a herd of Elephants taking mud baths closed the trip!

Luck was on our side on our final drive in the Sabi Sands... kind of. We set off looking for Lions and Leopards to no avail, but we did run into two of the more rare residents in a Rhino and Wild Dogs. We moved back into Kruger with some good Elephant sightings on the way to camp

Absolutely unreal day in the Sabi Sands! Started with a female Leopard who had repositioned her Impala kill in a tree. Later we witnessed my first live kill in Africa with a pack of Wild Dogs carefully coordinating a Steenbok hunt just to have Hyenas rush in and steal their kill!

We started the morning with a mystery! A fresh Impala carcass in a tree with no Leopard. There were some eager Hyenas underneath waiting for handouts. We saw three different Leopards in other places, but none were particularly cooperative on the photo front.

Today was all about the spots! Our morning began with a mother Cheetah and two older cubs before sunrise, unfortunately they didn't stick around long. We then saw a brute of a male Leopard, Tortoise Pan, as well as a young female Xiluva, followed by a crash of 8 Rhinos!

Today we moved from Kruger to the Sabi Sands. We finally had our first good photo op of Cape Buffalo as a herd of around 150 crossed the road in front of us. We closed the night with a pair of male Lions roaring from less than 10 feet away, an absolutely unforgettable moment!

Absolutely unbelievable day! Started the day with a mother Cheetah and four small cubs. Five minutes later ran into a pride of Lions with little ones. Following a round of golf inside the National Park, we had Wild Dogs at their new den followed by mating Lions to close the day!

Today we saw 3 different types of Kingfishers, the tiny Malachi, and Oreo themed Pied, and the largest in Africa, the Giant Kingfisher. The highlight of the day came with a Hyena with an entire Warthog head in its mouth! We again closed out the day with a Bushbaby show!

Treasures big and small today as we began with Giraffes all over and finished with the world famous Bushbabies at Croc Bridge Camp! The Wild Dog puppies ventured out further than we had seen them before while a Leopard, Lions, and a Jackal gave us fleeting sights w/ no photo ops

This morning it was the Hyenas outside of camp giving us a nice early wakeup call! It was a slow morning with general plains game, but the afternoon gave us a rare close up experience with a Rhino and an extended visit with a Hyena den with some tiny cubs!

Had a 3:30 wake up call from roaring Lions right outside of camp before moving North to Satara, a very different ecosystem than the Southern part of Kruger. Got our first good look at the Wild Dog puppies on the way and had sightings of Lions, Owls, and Wild Cats on a night drive

Day 2⃣ in 🇿🇦 The day started off with a bang once again with Wild Dogs active around their den. A short time later we had a pair of very curious Hyena pups all to ourselves at their den. We ran into huge herd of 100+ Zebras before finding a Lioness and her cubs to close the day!

Following a 15 hour flight to Johannesburg our African adventure kicked off with a bang! Right off the bat my favorite animal and the (usually) rare, African Wild Dog. Had some great Hippo interactions in the Lake Panic Hide and saw a large breeding herd of Elephants!

@RoyAllenFSW @ZacCole_ Is ASUN looking to add though? You are completely correct, and if they were, then I stand corrected.

@WayneCavadi_D2 @ZacCole_ Ummm... You still have time to delete this... Nobody in the ASUN (with Tampa right in the middle of their footprint) has Football..

@ZacCole_ Tampa doesn’t have football. Please fine me a DI conference that is okay with bringing a school up that can’t offer a football program, especially mid-majors that are looking to build notoriety through football.

@SanJacRaven43 I hate it, but I have to agree. I don't know that you can go all year with 75% of the teams using metal and then change when playing for a National Championship, but there is certainly no pureness to the games there because of the elements that you noted.

I know I’m in the minority here… but it’s time to go to Wood Bats! You’ll never move the fences back in #Junction. The field was built many years ago when they played with wood. It’s not made for aluminum bats. Elevation plus short porch = way too many runs

@CoachMcCarry That's fair, and I don't think it is a fool proof metric. But again, they had 11 Division I wins this year, nobody else in the field had less than 30. As I said before, I am sure they are really good and the eye test would tell you that, but you can't seed teams on the eye test

@RoyAllenFSW I'm as adept as Massey ratings as anyone in the country. And I've had years where I finished 4th overall at the WS and my SOS was 105 somehow and I played my first 24 games on the road 7 hours away. Im telling you, eye test, the ranking is wrong.

Harford team goes on the road to Flo Dart (mind you, it was their year to host and they got pushed out of it) , after flo dart had beat #2 Gaston... And they get rewarded with the #10 seed. Now they either dethrone #1 or get the bias unjustly confirmed.
