@DivotDoctrine My heart wants Rose, my head says Cam Young. I could see Scheffler going lights out, I could see Rory hanging on. One thing for sure - Augusta is gonna hurt someone and reward someone else. Will be a great final round!

EVERYTHING goes in the left pocket.
(Everything is divot tool, 1 tee, coin)

I have just noticed @JustinRose99 has his ball marker in his left pocket. Left pocket, that’s just craziness.

@MidwestGolfJake Our good friend Mr. Brauer is the master of the drivable 4. Still, I'm having hard actually reaching them as well.
English

@RoyClark381 Yup, that's about perfect. I like 1-2 reachable 5s and one reachable 4. Sadly most courses reachable 4 plays 310 or do. So it's not reachable.

Watching the ANWA was a good reality check for those of us (i.e. most of us) with swing speeds 100 mph or less.
These are the yardages the 4 par 5s played at the ANWA today.
-Hole 2 (Pink Dogwood): 515 yards
-Hole 8 (Yellow Jasmine): 480 yards
-Hole 13 (Azalea): 455 yards
-Hole 15 (Firethorn): 475 yards
For the vast majority of golfers, these are the distances par 5s need to be to be reached in 2 shots.
While we're at it, a driveable par 4 for the vast majority of golfers is 260 yards or less.
I know this is X where everyone hits it 330. But if you're following me, you know I don't hit it that far.
The best thing for my game has been being realistic about my distances and playing tees that are challenging yet still give me a chance to take a few shots on.

Hate a dirty golf towel. I won’t even dip em in a creek.
RoyClark@RoyClark381
Do any other golfers wash their towel after every round?
English

@Neely1751 Hahahaha, I understand the thought. One reason I only use black for clubs
English

@RoyClark381 The first time my wife saw my towel when I brought it in the house to wash, she looked concerned because it had “that” look. I asked, what’s wrong and she asked, did you have an accident? No, Why? It looks like poop stains all over your towel. The rest is history!!!
English

@KipHenley We have the definitive answer here! Thanks for weighing in Uncle Kip!!
English

@colinarmi Finding folks handle their towels in many different ways
English

@RoyClark381 You’re supposed to wash that thing?
I maybe do once every other month
English

@GaryLongtin Like to keep it clean. Tons of clay around. It's like mud glue.
English

@DivotDoctrine 🤣🤣 Yes! Have to let them know when they are following company culture!
English

@RoyClark381 Yep, might give my putter in timeout and bring back the ex for a round
English

@DivotDoctrine I get that. It's like the 2-way miss. Everything feels wrong and it's hard to stay positive when that happens. I used to chase swing changes after those days, but now I chalk it up to body being off and reset.
English

@RoyClark381 Both and it mentally demoralized me by the 12th hole lol
English

@RoyClark381 Well I do believe in buying nice things and taking care of them so it’s a bit of a slip up there.
English

@CrumblingDad When I take too long off (like now), I remember how easy leg days are and jump back in.
English

@RoyClark381 My instinct is we have to undermine it and flood this market with actually useful things. But I’m not sure that exists.
English

I believe there’s a cottage industry (possible conspiracy) of golf related crap that no golfer would EVER buy, but is targeted at women with a husband/boyfriend/kid that “is obsessed with golf” and looks like something “he’ll get a kick out of”. 🤣

This is the worst golf hat I've seen in my entire life
