@VonnSand @ScottishLabour So, a local authority wants to introduce charges but you want the national government to stop it? Is that democracy? Are you campaigning for WM to stop London’s congestion charges? You must be desperate if this is your campaign. You are 9nly doing this as SNP is in Glasgow. Sad

The Scottish Labour leader’s promising to block Glasgow City Council proposals for a congestion fee if he wins May’s election. Anas Sarwar tells me it wouldn’t be fair to charge people to enter the city for things like hospital appointments.

Businesses and drivers will be hammered by SNP plans for congestion charges in Glasgow. People will be punished for travelling to work, taking children to childcare, attending hospital appointments and spending time with family and friends. Scottish Labour will block these plans. I’m standing to fix the mess, get the basics right and build a better future for Glasgow and Scotland.

@DouglasRob0 The case for independence is that we want to make our own decisions, here, in Scotland. There are lots of small countries with no oil that manage fine. Ireland, Malta, Singapore, New Zealand, Denmark,…..

Current price of Brent crude oil is $109.6 🛢️ The SNP White Paper was based upon oil being $113 ⬆️ Since 2014 the SNP have declared war on oil production, campaigning against Grangemouth and the North Sea Without oil the financial case for independence is non existent 💷

Today 450,000 kids across the UK have a brighter future due to the end of the 2 child limit. New rights at work come into force, the minimum wage has increased, and around £117 on average has been taken off energy bills. That’s the change you get when people vote Labour.

As the new financial year begins, the two-child benefit limit has been removed. This will lift 95,000 children here in Scotland out of poverty. This is a @UKLabour Government reducing child poverty and delivering for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@AnasSarwar Labour has a similar policy in London. Is that a bad one too? Or do you want Khan and Starmer to resign?

The SNP want you to pay to drive in to Glasgow - for work, hospital appointments or social occasions. That’s bad for you and for Glasgow. Vote Scottish Labour to beat the SNP and stop this madness.

@AnasSarwar Labour’s track record isn’t very good on these things, you gave us PFI schools, built few houses.

@Wass2020 If you are referring to Ross Greer, he is 31 years old. It is rather patronising of you to call him a ‘boy’, just because you don’t like his political views or his dress sense. If this had been a woman and referred to as a ‘girl’ and criticised for her dress would you be happy?

I’m not usually a betting man but I’m looking for a bookie who will give me ANY odds on there being NO referendum in the next five years. If you are voting because you believe there will be if you vote on that sole reason good luck you are going to be disappointed AGAIN

Nicola Sturgeon once stood up and told MSPs an IndyRef2 would take place on October 19, 2023. John Swinney now suggests another referendum will happen in 2028. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/…
