According to The Wall Street Journal, Strategy recorded an unrealized loss of approximately $14.5 billion in the first quarter, primarily due to a sharp decline in the value of its Bitcoin holdings. Bitcoin fell 23% in Q1, its worst start to a year since 2018. The company also recorded a deferred tax benefit of about $2.4 billion during the same period.
