Double Amputee Johnny “Joey” Jones reenlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on May 20, 2026.
He was sworn back in by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth in the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes.
He returned to service to “finish the story” he started over 20 years ago and repay a remaining “debt.”

@LibRepellent82 @budweiserusa The story goes back before microbreweries. They made changes to cut costs and increase profits. Loyal customers noticed and left the brand. The brewery was sold and has changed hands a couple times but never recovered from bad management decisions that destroyed its reputation.

The discontinuation of the iconic Schlitz beer brand after 177 years is sad, but just another business case of a brand being ruined by moving to cheaper ingredients and processes to increase profits. A business case that AB-BEV and @budweiserusa should have read.
