@bt83291 @nenshi If he has any chance of becoming premier, he needs to tell the truth about off-site levies. He spread a lot of disinformation about who actually pays what...ie, what exactly the city didn't want to pay.

A strong Alberta economy requires a stable regulatory environment to encourage investment. The Harper-era regulations didn’t work, and neither did the Trudeau Bill C-69. But the Smith government has no solutions to offer. Businesses need process certainty, and citizens need good environmental impact legislation. We all need a provincial government that’s willing to play ball and make deals that work for all Albertans. Just constantly hiring lawyers and going to court, with unknown fees, won’t get what we need. It’s time for a serious government taking Alberta’s concerns seriously.
