One more note to add to this: according to records maintained by Creighton coach Chris Gannon, Berlyn Schutz's 4:27.30 is the fastest mile ever recorded by a former Nebraska high school female athlete. She has topped the time of Gering alum and pro athlete Sara Vaughn, who posted a 4:27.31 in 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Cheapest LA Olympics tickets for track and field, and just for preliminary rounds. Oh, and as I typed up this post, the $682 tickets sold out. I’d rather vacation in Hawaii. 🤣😂

@ChrisParno @BruinJumps Yeah I logged in & stared at the screen, had hoped to take the fam. There were affordable tickets $50-$250, available to locals but sold out. I don't think that $1k to sit in the lower section on the homestretch for an Oly final is crazy. It's just not my budget.
