@TrailTimeJessie The majority of Tillamook cheese comes from a massive factory farm in Boardman.
English

Those may be states with good cheese, but not the best cheese. That honor goes to Oregon all because of Tillamook.

Experts remain divided on Iowa

I hate this showed up on my timeline. I think hack is an integral part of winning and individualized player development.

@ChrisParno @BruinJumps Yeah I logged in & stared at the screen, had hoped to take the fam.
There were affordable tickets $50-$250, available to locals but sold out.
I don't think that $1k to sit in the lower section on the homestretch for an Oly final is crazy. It's just not my budget.
English

@ChrisParno The United States of Marketing is just extracting max profits from us for everything.
English

@BruinJumps This is crazy, in Paris on the day I was buying tickets for $90-$120
Prelims and semi's no finals obviously, but it was actually accessible

@RodeoProfessor His entitlement is not shocking, considering he played lacrosse at affluent Summit HS in Bend.

This guy is annoying and lame. They close the National Park rivers in the winter to let one of the most pressured fisheries on planet earth rest. Native cutthroat overwinter, and they’re low activity and slow. Management is responsive to change, as of now you can still fish parts of the Madison and Gardner by geothermal areas where it’s warmer and the fish have food year round (bugs) but in places they don’t, they close the fishery in the National Park only. All the public land all around the park in Montana and Wyoming are open year round for him to go and fish 24/7/365 with minimal closures here and there for like bull trout spawning.
Cowboy State Daily@daily_cowboy
An Oregon man accused of violating Yellowstone National Park’s fishing restrictions and a road closure is challenging the park’s rules as unconstitutional overreach. If he wins, it could upend the park’s ability to enforce many of its rules. tinyurl.com/mrxehaen

@_yungjordi @SantanaGalaviz @adamstatonsmith UofO is a public research university, and was formed by the Oregon State Legislature.
English

@SantanaGalaviz @adamstatonsmith Oregon Football brings in more than 20 million a year, that’s not remotely why they’re having this problem.
Osu also benefits from instate funding that Oregon, a private university doesn’t.

@DaveBallSports @InternetH0F Principals/administrators aren’t union. Unions wouldn’t protect that behavior either.
English

@InternetH0F Complete lack of judgment. Shouldn't be leave, should be fired. Anywhere without a union it certainly would be.

RANT: stop calling them "illegal winds"!!!
Reason: anyone outside of track thinks the athlete(s) did something wrong. They think the athlete(s) are DQ'd or have to re-run the race.
2.0+ wind only means you can't set a record, or can't qualify for certain meets. It's not illegal, it's only ineligible for certain activities but it's still eligible for the next round or to win that race.
We have to think outside of our box to attract more fans and this is a small example IMO.

Oh man, is he right?
This resonated with me in regards to track/field coverage in America.
Fred Kerley@fkerley99
Y’all stopped covering track and started covering mistakes.

@jscukanec Best wishes to your wife and family from across the river. My wife starts chemo next week at OHSU. Keep strong and stay positive.
English

“Your wife has breast cancer”
That’s a gut punch.
Something I could have gone the rest of my life without hearing, but did on Tuesday.
So on the only day in the last 1,172 days that I didn’t want to play catch, I did.
With Heather.
Here’s why…

@steven_montoya @MikeCunningham @CoachJTAyers Water isn’t going to seep up from underneath *through* vinyl. What’s likely happening is that fluid dynamics is causing condensation. Occasionally flip the pits over and let them drain.
English

@BruinJumps @MikeCunningham @CoachJTAyers Thanks for sharing but I completely disagree with Ritchey claiming the vinyl is a 100% barrier to water. We have the all weather cover and the pits are currently sitting on the ground and they are SOAKED when we put them away in May. It’s ridiculous. We live in NM where it’s dry
English

Track coaches,, what are you doing with your high jump and pole vault pits to help prolong their life and allow them to dry adequately? Are they sitting on the ground or do you have them elevated on top of some sort of platform? @MikeCunningham @CoachJTAyers

@reghunnicutt @meathead Every state has this rule in some form and the US supreme court said states are entitled to exclude some political apparel in order to preserve "an island of calm in which voters can peacefully contemplate their choices."
English

@meathead I didn’t know that was a rule. I assumed the 1ST amendment was in play as a US citizen.

I am an election judge on Tuesday and I am worried about voters wearing shirts and hats that endorse candidates or make other political statements. I am fearful of their reactions when I have to tell them to remove the item of clothing or leave the polling place. Please tell your friends to be aware of the rules that forbid electioneering at polls.
