fascinating convo at @agihouse_org about HLE, next steps for HLE and how to actually reduce hallucinations in agentic systems here are 4 things you can do right now to make your agent hallucinate less 👇 1: add uncertainty as an acceptable outcome to prompting, allow the model to admit it doesn’t know the answer mvp: “it’s ok if you’re wrong or uncertain, tell me and we can figure out another way” 2: occasional double check tool use via observer model and/or ask the primary model to check its work, essentially add ability to express uncertainty between turns mvp: between each tool call, add another model to “check the work” of the primary model 3: take user questions into sub-questions before running through a multi-tool use, long running process. help the model break the task into smaller tasks mvp: have a model break down the original query into 5 sub-questions before hitting the primary agent model 4: create specialized agents, have them all attempt the same task and pick winners via a separate agent mvp: run 3 instances of your agent in parallel. have another model pick the winner. it’s expensive but yields better results now go build something people love and thank you Malika making this happen!! 🙏
