This is a great/fun exercise, but I’m pretty sure Piazza has 2 playoff appearances not 1 (99, 00). Also, IMO winning a pennant should mean something between a playoff appearance and a WS championship (so should a division championship be worth more than a wild card). Also, agree with others that the Cy Young being too low…

INSANE: THIS WAS CALLED AS AN OFFENSIVE PASS INTERFERENCE ON #GIANTS WR DARIUS SLAYTON… THIS ELIMINATED HIS 67-YARD TOUCHDOWN PLAY. New York coaches and players were yelling on the sideline after this. Just a historically bad officiated game.

Game changing penalties AGAINST the Giants today: -Obvious fumble and recover on tush push with runner still moving forward -Wan'Dale ghost block in the back -neutral zone infraction on a CLEAR false start -OPI on Darius Slayton when clear hand-fighting happening -Several missed holding calls/block in back against Abdul Carter Probably missed more, but one of the WORST refereed games I've seen in my life. Legit cheating.

Maybe didn’t matter, maybe did - but one can point to 5 atrocious calls that all went against the G-Men and all impacted scoring…
